so is it just Rokia Traore opening the Pyramid on the Saturday and others will be opening other stages, or is it Rokia Traore opening the Pyramid on the Saturday, two other Malian artists opening the Pyramid on the other two days, and ALSO other Malian artists opening up some of the other stages?

hope it's the former as that opens up numerous possibilities for new additions on the Pyramid

surely Jake Bugg can't be opening Pyramid seeing as he's on the same day as Haim and Laura Mvula, who are unarguably smaller than him - unless he's actually opening the Acoustic Stage that day (haven't heard the interview so not sure how it was worded)

hmm interesting. tbh the moment i saw Haim on the Pyramid lineup i thought 'first band on' as they just seem to fit that criteria so perfectly in my eyes. will be surprised if Bugg in opening the Pyramid as he seems like quite a huge act now and would surely be wasted so early

65 days of static say they're playing Williams Green Stage on the 28th according to their website. They were listed as a 'strong rumour' on the efests lineup but seem to have dropped off. Heartily recommend them, they're an intense mix of post rock and techno beats. Would have been a perfect band for the old Glade stage.
