at Bestival last year i was on drugs (and so therefor ate fuck all) for the entirety of the weekend and so went for my first dump at the end of the final day. it wasn't a pleasant one and my insides felt like hell so i won't be doing that again! (not eating. not the constant drugs. i'll still be doing that)

I used to do that at festivals, but no way could I manage it at Glasto. I find eating helps your body recover from the madness and you feel better sooner when you get home. Besides, trying out all the food is one of my favourite things at Glasto. So many amazing food stalls. I'm already looking forward to the cajun fries from that place in West Holts!

I don't get it either. The bogs aren't nice but they're far from the worst I've seen at festivals and I'd choose them over the stomach cramps that are bound to hit after 4 days. When you finally do go it must be like giving birth!

lol, at this thread turning into essentials to how often you dump! all i can say is if your veggie like me and think a lovely hot tasty lentil curry from near the healing fields is a good idea, it rules out the opportunity of holding your poo for more than 6 hours, dear god almost passed out in the tent with the fumes :D

I do not understand the No Poo Policy!! It's madness!

As for eating, you really need to eat at least once a day, even if you have to force it in due to pharmacueatical intake. Trust me. You'll feel better after eating, even if it takes you an hour to eat a small slice of pizza. If you really can't manage 'real' food, get a smoothie thats full of fruity goodness.

With regards to the weight loss, I always lose at least half a stone each Glastonbury- its all the walking!
