Anyone think they could pull off a greatest hits Pyramid headliner set next year? I think they headlined last in 97 but their back catalogue has obviously expanded since and they are a fantastic live act

Not to everyone's taste, granted, but worthy of a shout in my opinion. I'd love to see it anyway

I'm a big fan of The Prodigy, but like someone else said the 'where's my warriors' stuff wasn't that great tbh.

Think they would need a big selling album next year to possibly do a night slot in 2014.

I loved the newest album but didn't like the live MCing over it too much watching it on videos but I was probably well enough drunk & into it to really notice at Reading, Bestival & Plymouth Pav.

I'd be happy with them as an Other Stage headliner, I just think there might be better new artist or band to get the shot of headlining & a bigger name that would relegate them down the bill a bit.

Think they would work well in a tent...but Glastonbury doesn't really have any really huge tents that would satisfy demand!

they weren't even good in 1995. That was just about the same set they'd been doing since about '91. I was bored shitless by it, and I left. 20 years on, they're still doing nothing different.

They were unreal in 09 but they need new material. The last album has been toured to death.

Actually scrap that. They've only released two albums since Fat of the Land. Both hit and miss but some good tracks on both.

Same could be said about Springsteen, maybe 93 instead of 96 though! people lapped that shit up at the Pyramid in 09!

The Prodigy are pioneers in dance music and a successful international act from the UK, that in itself should be celebrated and then we would not get the likes of Rihanna and Lady GaGa mentioned as potential headliners for next year. I personally believe that they should have a shot at Headlining even if their best days are behind them.

Blur, U2, Stevie Wonder have not been rolling out the hits in recent years but it makes them no less relevant.

British acts like the Prodigy, Primal Scream, Chemical Brothers do not get the recognition they deserve for their ability to cross genres, breaking new ground and their success over the last 20 years or so in my opinion. Maybe anyone of those acts could have benefitted from an extended hiatus like Stone Roses or Blur, so that their music might be appreciated in the same way.
