THat's exactly the sort of tent I want, except I already have a new one, was going to buy the blacks one posted above but its gone, think someone bought it I like a storage area away from sleeping area, our tent don't have that but It's really sturdy and so easy to pitch.

I've borrowed a tent every year so far so I'm pleased to be finally getting my own one... well to share with hubby... last years lend was similar to that one and we loved having everyone over for tea in the morning...

Just remember though that tunnel tents rely on guy lines, which in a packed festival can be a prob. (space to peg them out, people tripping over them e.t.c)

This is why at festys I use my 4 man dome, my geodesic is to expensive to risk taking & I don't take my tunnel tent for the above reason.

I think your tent choice is very important, especially as your there for 5 days.....and probably either sweating to death, soaked from rain or covered in mud, therefore a roomy / comfy tent is important.

I'm pondering taking a picnic table for breakfast I have a foldaway one , just not sure if I want to keep putting it up and taking it down as I imagine it wouldn't be a food idea to leave it up when we are off exploring

Spent the day emptying out 2 years of clutter from the caravan. 10 weeks but away for 3 weekends and busy at work. Means early preparations, but great fun finding forgotten memories of 2011.

I repaired my rucksack today and had a dry run of one of my tents yesterday.

Determined to travel at least slightly lighter this year so dug out all my festival gear earlier and started removing some of the less essential items.

I've been packing already. I bought a camp bed today and have been trying to put it together - is there a knack to getting the legs on?!! Think I've dislocated my shoulder in the process of trying ha ha.

I know what you mean - it's easy to get carried away and bring a load of crap that, at the end of the day, you'll never need. I'm determined to pack my rucksack light this year. This will leave the trolley free purely for transporting alcohol.

Doing a dry run of the route at the weekend ( about an hour drive each way). Selling idea to Mrs on premise that ill be driving a long mobile home and only want to make right turns. Not sure she's convinced of the logic there.

I just sorted my loft yesterday, found loads of gear I bought last year for glasto in the sales,lol forgot I had it, just small things, water carrier, pegs, bungee ropes etc, cool
