just read that Billy Corgan is joining TNA Wrestling as Senior Producer, Creative and Talent Development, effective immediately. could be an interesting thing, apparently he's a fan of wrestling, could pick things up for tna, although have they sorted out their pay issues that were being reported the other week. I'd guess so if they've got him on board

He's ran his own small wrestling company. He's no stranger at all to wrestling. Id hazard a guess he's a very creative mind. It always surprises me more ex wrestlers aren't involved though in creative.

I watched TNA last night and a lot of it is just urgh at the moment but EY's heel work is an absolute joy to watch. Those piledrivers on AA, one on the concrete and one on the steps, damn, they looked very convincing. Then he went to town on Angle's leg.

Id much rather watch EY than MVP as the main heel.

Extreme Rules was poo.

It was pretty forgettable, but I think its a flawed concept as the multiple gimmick matches burn the crowd out.

I thought Ambrose and harper had great chemistry and really enjoy the heel sheamus. The main event seemed a bit lacklustre compared to some of the epic ones recently.

I like the idea of the cesaro/kidd team as both were getting lost in the shuffle, I think both need to find some personality and it was the perfect way for them to find it. However I find the booking confusing. Even as heels they seemed to do a lot of "face" movea and had a manager who is never going to be over as a heel. I think they have turned face which probably suits their wrestling, but think it will be harder to find their character. Also the new day suck, without the usos around I'm not sure anyone is getting over

The tag match was the best match on the PPV by far.

I really don't understand why Cesaro isn't higher on the card. Guy is SO over. What more do they want? Better promos or is it merch sales?

They loved it on the Austin podcast, I respect his opinion so should give new day a chance. I struggle to see Kofi as a face and find it hard to show any interest in big E. I loved the first 2 matches (understandable as they are 4 of my favourites) and also Reigns V Big show, the former has really rose to the challenge set following the royal rumble and has had 3 strong matches with different opponents. I found both the US title and World title matches incredibly dull.

As for Cesaro I have a few opinions.

1. He is very over with the hardcore fans who may shout the loudest, but Im not sure are the majority. WWE still looks for the young audience and I think as a kid I would have found Cesaro dull and probably not buy his merch.

2. His character has lacked direction which I feel is partially down to the booking team not giving people a reason to care about him. I also feel he hasn't helped himself as he seems to wrestle exactly the same whether face or heel. For example I don't think he should ever do the swing move as a heel.

3. While there is a lack of superstars in the WWE, there are a load of people at that level below. While I enjoy Cesaro, I probably enjoy Ziggler, Bray, Reigns, Rollins, Ambrose, Rusev more. I think the tag division is the perfect place for him to improve his charcter, as he definitely doesn't lack talent.

I thought that this week's RAW was actually really solid and a decent show throughout.

Ambrose being added to the Triple Threat solely to be the guy that takes the fall is something I don't agree with. On one hand it adds a fan favourite and another exciting performer to the match, but I think it cheapens any future Shield Triple Threat match, which should be a huge deal when it happens.

Well the GFW roster reveal was absolutely dreadful.

No coverage of the press conference live, just half arsed filtered through from people on twitter.

The roster.

Well.... Hardly gunna set the world alight.

TNA have a returning World Champ this Friday.

From whos avaliable its one of these five

Bully Ray

Chris Sabin

RVD

Mick Foley

AJ Styles

Think we can rule Foley out straight away as he is doing WWE Network stuff.

Bully doesn't seem to want to return to TNA but who knows.

RVD seemed to slag off TNA, but he has since slagged off WWE so it COULD be him.

AJ with no build just like that, I dunno I just can't see it, not yet anyway. Think he agreed he wouldn't work for TNA whilst still with NJPW as well.

Leaving the most uninspiring choice of Sabin. He would also be the cheapest option. So yeah. Sabin it will be.

Id prefer Bully, as long as he gets some momentum again, after the aces and eights split he kinda drifted a bit.

Maybe he's realised WWE just aint interested so hes going back to TNA.

I like Bully, think he's entertaining in and out of the ring and would go a long way to making TNA interesting again. EY is the only good thing on there, Roode isn't on at the mo, Aires is being used woefully, Angle hardly used. I really hope Corgen comes in and shakes the place up cus they really have no idea at the mo.

I've just watched the Roman Reigns 24 documentary that aired on The Network and it was brilliant. As a person he is very respectable and also respectful of everyone around him. He seems so passionate about the business and such a family man.

I now find it impossible to dislike him after watching that, something that I have been coming round too more and more since Fast Lane. I understand completely why they are backing him as the next 'guy'. He's clearly well liked backstage, is humble and very driven to succeed. I really hope he gets his big moment at next years WrestleMania.

Isn't it just Bobby Lashley?

Just got back into WWE recently. Probably haven't watched it for about 10 years. I find it incredibly weird to see Kane playing the part that he does at the moment. All i can think is how can a guy who was supposed to have escaped a mental institution be the director of operations. I know they have to develop these characters and Kane needed to lose the mask and evolve but it just feels odd.

Big fan of Roman Reigns and I quite like Dean Ambrose too.

Kane has always gone through phases of losing the mask, putting the mask back on etc right now he lost the mask to show he's no longer the Big Red Machine when he allied with Triple H & Steph and got the director position as a reward. It looks like gonna turn again soon and no doubt he'll have the mask back on.

Went to my first indy show yesterday (Southside in Sheffield) and my god the quality compared to a wwe live event is incredible. It cost me £12 for a better show than the £80 I payed for wwe live. Also Daniels + Kazarian were really sound with everyone. I would highly recommend going to a indie show if you like wrestling the slightest bit because what you see for the small sum you pay is incredible. PCW, ICW or Southside are all good shows if your interested in finding out more.

There's absolutely TONS of great indies out there in the UK, the UK is probably the best place to go see wrestling on a regular basis this days and get top quality each time.

Makes me fairly miffed when people will just go to a WWE show once a year.

Just try an indie show and chances are you'll like it!

BTW TNA making a BIG UK announcement this week. I still maintain its that they are doing BFG here. If it is I'll go to that, as long as its not a trainwreck like last years BFG. How stupid was that decision...

    • If anyone spots any new tour posters on site could they share them please? Hoping for ADTR and Electric Callboy tours
    • It completely depends on how that count is done   if it’s individuals entering the arena each day, over the whole weekend, it was at 30% capacity and in no way one of the highest attended festivals in the UK   it was in no way as low as 30% though so that can’t be the measure, so as a number, with no context, “90,000” is meaningless.   Only one category of Leeds ticket seems to have moved on to second tier pricing at this point. I don’t think this is necessarily a sales indicator as much as a method to keep prices up north lower than down south but with this and the anecdotal video evidence, it’s clear Leeds has been nowhere near its capacity (of 90,000/ day) the last 2-3 years
    • £56 - £118 was the price range.   Which for an arena show, dare I say it, felt "okay" in this environment.
    • I’m sure someone said on here months back that they self confirmed at one of their gigs, like late last year
    • Yeah Kurt Vile keeps growing on me more and more. DCFC I found solid enough but relatively forgettable unfortunately.
