Sad news that Perro Aguayo Jr died in the ring last night tagging with Manik against Rey Mysterio and Tigre Uno.

Seems a lot of people trying to blame Rey and theres talk of manslaughter charges against him, but I've seen the footage from two different cameras and he didn't botch a move it was just something freak that has happened, its crazy you can't see anything has gone wrong and then the next minute he's dead.

Konnan is shaking the guy like crazy, that part is pretty disturbing, the realisation something is seriously wrong, I can't believe they continued the match, the referee, what is he doing? Just a completely mad situation. The amount of wrestling matches i've watched since I started watching in 1989 and i've never seen anything like that.

Really is quite disturbing. Can happen at anytime. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Jesus thats awful. He just took a kick and snapped his neck on the ropes. Didn't look that bad!

agree with the above, was kind of bad, but what got me was that they just didn't know what to do for the first minute or two which just seemed weird.

anyway re the network; watched the majority of fast lane on it and it coped well, but wrestlemania is a different beast entirely so could be strained by then. first week or so I had it, it was really struggling to load, would play a minute, then buffer etc. recently it hasn't been too bad, but I suppose its when you use it as well whether its affected by that. they should upgrade their servers so it can cope with the demand.

Watching Raw and the start was Sting - HHH, the build for this match has been the absolute w*nkest build up ever. Its so boring and pathetic reasoning, you'd think HHH would expect better, maybe he's done it so people can't moan about their storylines

Someone comes up to him, HHH im not happy with the way the writing is being done for my fued with such and such

HHH - ''did you see my Sting fued?''

...... walks away

I think Sting-Trips is one of the better feuds and I do love Steph playing the brat, if you want to talk shit builds up then Roman wanting to play tug of war like a child with Lesnar, the tag titles that seems to have no story, the IC & Battle Royal being all over the place and still no 'Taker would beat it.

That had to be the worst ending to a Mania go-home RAW that I can remember. Who even thinks of this shit? Honestly, they're going to build up the two guys in the main event being face to face for the first time live on RAW, to then have them play tug of war for ten seconds with the title belt? Really?

I'm going to say that Reigns doesn't walk out champion.

I think its difficult promoting a feud between 2 people who dont wrestle. Im wondering if they should have left it a little later to debut Sting. At least you can guarantee it will be a decent match.

I think decent is about the maximum you get from those two. Sting has had all sorts of matches with all sorts of decent - great wrestlers in the last 10+ years, and none of them went above that mark. Can't see why that'd change.

I think what will push this match up is crowd participation. I think the crowd will be really into the match, Sting and HHH are both as good as you can get at playing their respective face/heel roles. Regardless of the build the crowd will be deperate to see sting to give him an ass kicking. It may not get a Dave Meltzer 5* rating but if the crowd has fun, does it really matter?

The go home show was okay. some good stuff and some bad stuff.

Once again another killer promo from Heyman but that tug of war ending was shit, Lesnar being the beast that he is, should have hit Reigns after taken the title. I'm calling it now, Reigns heel turn. Crowd just don't give a shit about him.

I think Cena will win after the way that went last night.

Wyatt's promo was once again very good and I like how Taker isn't there, going to make it all the more special when that gong goes on Sunday. I can understand why people are disappointed though.

Orton/Rollins took a bit of a step back last night but it's been the best built feud overall. They could steal the show if they get enough time.

Sting/HHH didn't like that segment at all. Felt very flat and I would have had Sting get a pedigree or something.

IC title stuff was fine.

I think that the ending of Mania is going to be big. Something major has to happen to fix this vanilla main event. I'm going for The Authority and Heyman screwing Brock and Reigns siding with them.

I know it isn't anything big for people like us who have been expecting a Reigns heel turn, but for the casuals and all of the kiddies etc it will be a shocker to see Reigns side with Triple H etc.

But damn it I want a successful Seth Rollins cash in.

I think it does. Theres nothing riding on the Sting/HHH match. No consequences. So who cares who wins really? Same for the Taker match. And the Battle Royal. Same for Cena. IC maybe but nothing to really get involved in. Raw will be the same show basically regardless of what happens in all the matches really.

The build ups to most of the matches have been really poor. WWE making such a big deal of Takers loss last year (a promo about it every week basically) and then not addressing it this year is just weird. Who gains anything from another plodding Undertaker match? Its his 50th birthday today by the way.

I can maybe see a Heyman turn on Lesnar. Heyman always turns on his guys. Including Lesnar in the past.

I think a Reigns heel turn leads to a Rollins cash in not long after that, Rollins will start to become jealous that Reigns is now the Authority's main guy. I'll stop with the fantasy booking and see how it all plays out on Sunday.

Be crap if it just ends with Reigns winning clean then fade to black.

I think it all depends if Brock is staying. If he stays I would have him beat Reigns, if he is leaving i think Reigns should win clean. I personally dont see Wrestlemania as the right time for a MITB cash in, but maybe Im a traditionalist.

My WrestleMania predictions:

Rollins defeats Orton.

Bryan wins the IC Title.

Sheamus wins the Battle Royal.

Cena wins the US Title.

Paige & AJ defeat The Bellas.

Bray Wyatt goes over The Undertaker.

Triple H beats Sting.

Roman Reigns defeats Brock Lesnar for the Title.

Well Sting and HHH are not going to have a poor match, they are both too good at what they do to let that happen. I think when the match start people will care, because of the individuals involved, regardless of a sub standard build up.

I would agree as in the 'mania main event should be a huge thing that doesn't need a gimmick added but in this case it could do with a little extra.

I agree with about half of that. Undertaker winning is the result I am most cnoifdent about on the card. I cant see Sting losing his debut match. Rollins v Orton is a funny one, I think both are in need of a win. I can see a screwy ending that protects both, without getting either really over. Knowing how the WWE works I suspect however Orton wins his ppv comeback match.

I agree. It will be a decent well worked match. But Wrestlemania (and PPVs in general) should be about making RAW unmissable the next night. Theres not much on the card or any speculative outcomes that'll do that from what I can see.

Hope I'm wrong but the last few WMs have been over hyped non events.

The problem with RAW is that it's only used now to build towards the next PPV. I know that is the primary goal of RAW but I miss when they used to have big match main events, remember Mankind winning the title, Jericho winning it from HHH then getting it reversed, that is just a few examples off the top of my head. I'm not saying there has to be a big match on every week but would nice to see a title match or some match of my importance opposed to the usual 10 minute main event, beat down angle at the end.

That is what I'm enjoying about TNA recently, they have cut back on their PPVs (next one is June or July) so they don't really have a choice but Angle just won the title on free TV.

    • Disclosure Day was fun.  It's very Spielberg but probably not an all time classic Spielberg. Nothing particularly original but it's well made, good performances (exceptional performance by Emily Blunt) and for a 2 hour plus blockbuster it flew by. Not everything worked, but I don't want to say why to avoid spoiling. Then again, it's not like there are too many shocks in this film.
    • Do these early birds tickets sell out fast, or is it ok to wait for the w-e ?
    • He's still got the whole festival period on his tour dates list. The 4th is given as the Mac's Record Label showcase, which was separately announced for that date (obviously it's unlikely Mac would be on a different date to his own project)     I had AdP third down on Woods but Lucinda Williams pulling out and her de facto replacement playing a different day mixed things up, coupled with Ty Segall playing Garden solo last year.
