Bryan vs. Ziggler isn't just a suggestion that the two are pushing over Twitter, it's currently the plan for them within the company, according to online sources.

Give them 25 minutes and they will put on a match for the ages. You don't need a face and a heel. Have both guys remain as faces and have the story of them being tired of being held back by the authority and want a match against each other to show what they can do, "They don't think we are good enough for the WrestleMania main event, let's show them what they're missing out on" sort of thing.

Talking of 'Mania, I really don't think that Undertaker is going to be in a match. My current card:

Lesnar vs. Reigns (WWE Title)

Triple H vs. Sting

Cena vs. Rusev

Bryan vs. Ziggler

Nikki Bella vs. Paige (Divas Title)

Orton vs. Rollins (No Holds Barred)

Wyatt vs. Harper vs. Rowan

Ambrose vs. Sheamus (Street Fight)

Miz vs. Mizdow

Barrett vs. Ryback (IC Title)

Pre-show:

Zayn vs. Owens vs. Neville (NXT Title)

Usos vs. Ascension vs. Cesaro & Kidd (Tag Titles)

Memorial Battle Royal

Expecting a Sheamus heel turn then?

I think so, yeah. There has been loads of reports ever since he went off injured that he is going to come back as a heel. I thought he would return at the Rumble and eliminate Bryan, setting up a WM feud, but that obviously didn't happen. So if he came back and went after Ambrose, I think that would work.

If only they kept the IC title on ZIggler. Would add some importance to the match if it happens.

Bryan winning the IC at Mania a year after one of the biggest and most successful nights for any superstar in history? Surely an insult if anything, the way the IC title is tested nowadays.

I will look forward to Bryan/Ziggler though. Rest of the card looks pretty shit atm. If they genuinely go through with Roman/Brock singles main event it will be terrible. If Seth cashed in at the end it would be good but the actual match would be god awful. (I'll forever be sore that Bryan/Brock isn't happening).

Also, a good couple of weeks coming up in NXT. Bálor vs Itami next week & Zayn vs Owens in two weeks, I'm so fucking pumped for both of those.

He isn't going to get anything better I'm afraid.

You're probably right sadly. But the IC title at this point would just cement his place in the mid card. I'm still hoping that the power of the fans will push him back to where he deserves to be.

I'm suspecting that because of his past serious injuries, Daniel Bryan won't be around the WWE for long. That's why they pushing to build new top stars like Reigns. (Apart from backstage politics, such Reigns ties with the rock)

I mean that's the only logical reason I can come up with, why they are not keeping Bryan as their top face. On the other hand WWE creative wasn't always logical in the past few years.

Bryan as a top face means he has to win a lot and make heels look bad. And other faces who have lost to the same heels look bad.

Its just not believable. Id much rather Ziggler or Ambrose got big pushes. Sting too. Orton to come back aswell.

The idea of Bryan beating Lesnar now is ridiculous. And fans always get pissed off with it once reality kicks in. Rey, Floyd Mayweather etc.

John Cena has a horrendous list of injuries, and has had for years, so I'm not sure that's the issue.

Apparently Cena is willing to have strong nasty surgeries and meds to get back in ring which in the long term will mean he will end up with a likely early death that a lot of wrestlers have, Bryan wasn't willing to go down that route after his injury.

Make it a triple threat with Rollins, Roman and Lesnar and have Bryan compete in a number one contenders match at Mania. They are only going to be able to appease the Bryan fans who want him to headline with a big match and unless they get a big name part timer to face there's not really any other options imo.

They won't do a triple threat again and they done two Bryan matches last year.

I think the simple reason he isn't still main event is his size. Benoit was only a main eventer for 6 months then straight back to mid card. It doesn't help that there is only one title now either. If they still had two, things may be different, remember Rey and Eddie got more pushes, only because HHH, Edge, Cena were on Raw. With there been one title, spaces are limited at the top.

Triple H said on Smackdown that he is going to make an announcement that will rock the WWE Universe to its core on this coming RAW. Wonder what it will be?

I've read things online such as splitting the world titles again, a brand split, Bryan vs Reigns at Fast Lane to pick the new #1 contender because Bryan never lost the title. I can't see it being any of those. I think it will be something to do with The Rock coming out to help Reigns, and that Reigns wouldn't have won without his cousin, so they're stripping him of the Rumble win (a real cheap way to try and get the crowd to sympathise with him and stop the boos by having The Authority suppress him).

Imo, they simply can't insert Bryan into the main event, the only way was to have him win the Rumble. They already did it last year, and to do it again would be bad, and I'm a huge Daniel Bryan fan.

Bryan vs. Reigns will Reigns winning MIGHT be a shout, as it also gives Reigns a guaranteed good match to try and win people over.

I agree. If Reigns turned heel by cheating to beat Bryan then at least the negative crowd reaction would be warranted, storyline wise.

    • Ann and Nancy Wilson are planning a final world tour for HEART starting next year. They were never at Glastonbury. They should do it.
    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
    • I think it will very much vary on who there is to book who they know will sell out a day.    They’ve co-headline and full headline stuff in future, there no reason at all they won’t do it again, even if it means cutting someone’s set by 15 mins or having a band less in a big bands day…   They’re not going to not book Foo fighters and instead get the equivalent of Florence and C&S just to not have a band do a big set…   …unless of course they think it will make them more money…
