I was making a shit joke about how you said Portishead are Lana Del Rey in ten years, and a discussion then ensued about trip hop/baroque pop/sub-genres/co-genres/Lana Del Rey being trip hop.

I apologise for this absolute stinker of an attempt at humour, but I would like it to be known that I didn't think Lana Del Rey was headlining the Other, and I was not proven wrong by Matt42.

I guess that makes sense, and yes it was a shit joke. In fact I'm not even sure it qualifies as a joke.

And not to worry, the court finds that your explanation, while being tenuous and raising more questions that it answers, ultimately holds water and you are found not guilty of the heinous crime of being proved wrong by Matt42.

Make no mistake though you're on thin ice though Will, better buck your ideas up sharpish.

I finally listened to the Amazing Snakeheads' album (didn't even realise it was out lmoa) and it's fantastic. Cool Nick Cave vibe going on. Good alternative to Chvrches and Imagine Dragons at this year's festival I suppose. Still pissed off they're not at Glastonbury.
