Just wondering because I'm a first time goer. With the normal weekend ticket it is possible to get to the front of the main stage right? I'm asking since I saw pictures with a gate like halfway through the crowd.

It doesn't completely partition the front of the crowd off though, you can easily walk around it and stuff, as Matt said it's to prevent serious crowd surges
