every c**t and his brother 'knew' Foos were headlining and didn't they come out with Kasabian after this site?

every c**t and his brother knew before even last year's festivals - cos efests told them.

And yep, they came out with Kasabian after this site. As far as I'm aware there was no one tipping Kasabian as playing until efests told you they definitely were, because everyone thought they'd be playing at Hyde Park (from an nme story).

I've never seen any point in going to other rumour sites. If I wanted guesses rather than well-sourced info then the members of this forum are more reliable than I'M A DESPERATE SPAMMER and other such sites. At least most posters here make educated guesses with reasons.

Hey guys long time lurker here,

I'd just like to wade into the whole 'who's more reliable than who' discussion. I posted on these forums under my Facebook name (Joe Pape for anyone who cares enough to find it) with the full line-up on the day, albeit badly formatted as I was in a rush, and I was laughed off the site.

I was also the first person to post the correct headliners. I did this on the Official Forums and if anyone cares enough then I'll retrieve the link for you.

I'm not doing this for any sort of self gratification and I'm aware that this is not going to be a popular post but I just felt another perspective could be used. This is a fantastic website and watching bands go from R to SR to TBC is incredibly exciting and it is done with accuracy not seen elsewhere on the internet. Hats off to Neil and his sources for that. But there's no need to abuse Strictly, a fansite that doesn't stress ITK status (just to clarify I'm not a mod or owner or anything of the site)

The line-up prediction with the Killers subbing was laughable but I seem to remember eFestivals saying The Cure were 90 something % likely to not play Reading and a few other instances like that (10D etc.), so it's not like anyone's perfect.

Once again, I'm not trying to antagonize anyone and I welcome discussion on any of my points but I think the Strictly bashing has gone a tad far. Sorry for straying off topic :P

While the characters may be, the comedy is not. It's utter rubbish on par with Two and Half men and seems to have gathered a mass following of teenagers over here, It's nowhere near on par with other America Comedies such as Community, Arrested Development, The Office and the older Frasier.

I can't stand Big Band Theory, it's standard American laugh track comedy with the gimmick being caricatures of "nerds" with them throwing around sceince and comic book terms to give the apperance of authenticity the same way Friends is sudo-New York.
