Yeah, although i thought they were booked as headliners so was confused as to why Bassnectar were after them! They played 3rd from top at the peak of their career, which obviously they'd never do now but i'd of still thought they'd play a bit higher than opening main.

Nah sorry, they never played 3rd...they played 4th in 2001, 2006 and 2008 and headlined NME in 2002.

They still managed to completely pack out the FR tent at Reading when Kasabian were on so i would say they still have a large enough following for a mid/low main stage slot. Buck Rogers and Just a Day are known by pretty much anyone.

You think they would? I'd agree if they hadn't played the secret set last year, but with that, I think people, other than people on this board, are expecting them, don't think it would be big enough to announce the lineup earlier on, and leave a few hours between announcing the headliner.

Anyway I think we've ruled out the 2days 0hours thing, because they posted the same picture on Reading's facebook at 2, and on Leeds' at half 2

Still they're more likely than most of the headliner suggestions :P

Green Day playing above system would make sense. System are a strong sub so could have stepped up if Billy Joe didn't come back to health. Anyone know when he got out of rehab and see if it correlates to the system announcement?

    • Really well done, Primavera. Maybe the biggest name on the lineup as a surprise. (Ecpecially if Robert joins this)
    • There's one way it can get bigger- if Robert Smith joins her on stage
