First band I ever saw were Green Day at Sheffield Arena. They know how to put on a great show.

Saw My Bloody Valentine last night at the Brum Academy, blew me away. One of the better gigs I have been to.

If they are announced for Reading I will be a very happy chap indeed.

As they'll also have the reading line up, and green day aren't promoting anything else at the moment, I think this makes them a lot more likely...

I'm not sure, looks like they're gonna play though. Some were predicting a Bestival headline slot, which isn't too dissimilar.

Probably better suited to subbing & playing 4th.

Am I the only one that things Green day are the most predictable reading 2013 headliner you could think of? People were talking about the chances of it straight after their secret set last year!

It's really unoriginal in my opinion, I love their old stuff and they are a great band! Just... it seems like the organisers have given up on trump cards and like to give us a lineup with very little surprises. Eminem was a surprise for me, but he's played before and personally I don't see why he needs to play anyway so that was an opportunity wasted.

Kraftwerk, Pheonix and Vampire Weekend are surely heading. Foals and YYY's included in the subs. That's why I ended up with YYY's heading NME stage at Reading as that can be 3rd/4th main position.

A lot higher than that. Probably 6th from top on the main, something like that i'd say.
