Daft punk aren't a live band act though are they? Listening to their live album the way the work is remixing a few of their songs together into a single more "epic" track, and it works. Or has someone said that they are changing direction?

Either way, they sound epic live, I don't think they should change it too much

How? Their instruments run direct to the sound board, what are you doing?

The keyboard/sample/synther plays that. The other two do vocals, and the other instrumentalists play. I don't see your problem.
