Think that's reasonably realistic, and would actually be quite a cool idea if done right

Been reading the last few pages and although I do like Paramore, I have never seen them as potential headliners, they are pretty solid subs but too much of a risk to headline, besides, Hayley Williams doesn't compete with Amy Lee for looks or voice IMO and Evanescence have never been considered to headline a festival, and they have much better music.

I never said there aren't fans of Paramore who like their music but as Getoff as put better than me they stand out as they have a female singer which hooks people and has given them a bigger fanbase.

Go to google and type in Hayley Williams and the 2nd autocorrect that came up for me is "Hayley Williams Hot"...

As said before Haley Williams does add to Paramore's popularity but yeah I think its more a lead singer that girls can really relate to. (That said it's odd you wouldn't say that Yeah Yeah Yeah's or The Joy Formidable are more girl liked bands as they have a female lead singer..my conclusion is that girls like shitter music than guys?)

Anyway, from the initial announcement to the possibilities of the next one...I am getting quite excited and could go again!

Gonna cling to the hope they're only a rumour and there are 2 strong rumours up there.

However, when we got the Biffy info I did consider the possibility of Biffy, Mumford and Eminem. Only one headliner I'd want to see (Biffy) and I'm already seeing them in March.

If it is Biffy and Mumford, that would clear up Eminem as it's big selling point and it's fairly clear for the crowd that goes there, Biffy and Mumford will do the job, be cheaper headliners, Eminem would've been a packet but still the undercard is there to be decent.

Mumford's sub would be interesting though.

But either way, them 3 for what the ticket costs isn't great and it won't fly out I can't see.

Most likely. The XX subbing Mumford does nothing for me but I reckon it's up there with chances.

Obviously based on no 100% about Mumford but they've been switched for some reason

In a way that feels like saying that The Prodigy won't headline Reading and Leeds at all now but some think they are stuck at sub at the festival anyway. I did have them under Eminem but The XX subbing Biffy I think is a bit weak.

The sudden shift from everyone predicting The xx to headline NME to predicting them to sub, is that still because people think they're afraid of sunlight or whatever? Just wondering because I think third is pretty perfect for them.

Also I'm still struggling on how Biffy, Mumford and Eminem are now a 'solid' trio. Eminem I expect to shift a lot of day tickets to people who may not like festivals or guitar music - hence why presale tickets haven't been flying out. Then Biffy and Mumford picking up the rest of the lode baffles me, to say Rock Ness didn't sell out last year with them two - much less tickets to sell. But I suppose if R+L didn't sell out completely with last year's strong headliners, they may as well try something different.
