i cant see mumford headlining.

especially not being announced in the march which sells most of their tickets !!

if they were gonna announce them as headliner surely they would have been the first one, as in my mind i dont think they'll sell anywhere near as many tickets as eminem or sabbath ...

As far as headliners go, it may seem like it's a small pool when you just think Sabbath, Mumford, Blur and Biffy, but there could always be something really out of the box. The Who are touring the US in June/July, who's to say they couldn't surprise everyone and turn up? I'm sure there are loads of possibilities that haven't been mentioned just because everyone seems to think anyone who hasn't been discussed is out of the running.

I really wouldn't see Sabbath as a definite. They were in talks, so they're a stronger rumour than any of our speculation, but we don't know how they went.

They would fit the fest though. Also, based on The Cure day last year, I don't think you can say that it would affect the bands on the mainstage below them that day.

Haha, nothing's changing, deal with it. Moderated due to a pissed off forum runner, bitterness is delightful haha
you're right, nothing's changing.

The only thing that has changed is your name gazza, but you're still insistent on posting lies as truth - which is what led to your meltdown last time.

So unless you want the same to happen again - but with more intent - then I suggest you pull in your neck, accept that your bullshit is not going to be accepted here, and then the world can carry on nicely.

If you insist on continuing as a worthless liar by pretending that black was white, then you might as well take yourself away again now before I help you on your way.

And just to warn you, I'm not going to bother playing your childish games any longer. Once more, bye bye.

    • well, we might know by the end of next month if they drop the lineup early again
    • I'm definitely not camping 🙂.  My 17 year old Daughter and her friends are there 3 days and commuting back to Sheffield each day as didn't want to camp .  I am taking and picking up the Saturday so thought I may as well get a ticket as love Fontaines DC - need to do a lot of research on the other acts though to fill my day.    I walked through the camp site other year the day Arctic Monkeys played and it was like a War Zone.  My Son has camped a couple of times but didn't fancy my Daughter staying over.
    • Not at all impressed with Polanski saying "noone should be barred from public life" wrt the Tory neo-nazi. I really don't think "no nazis in politics" should be an excessive standard.
    • Dug into Milkweed some more and this was a brilliant suggestion. Thank you 🙂   This will come as no surprise, but I have been told that there are some band substitutions to come.
    • Yeah, I think it's important to differentiate between a stage that's just a platform for the artist to walk on (which can be assembled fairly quickly and without too much difficulty), and the custom staging that you get in big productions where there's a whole world underneath.   Using the Eras tour as an example the stage extending out into the stadium field has all sorts - lifts that go up or down - down most importantly as this allows performers to enter or to leave the stage as needed. There's passageways to get from one part of the stage to another. There's what are effectively dressing rooms set aside for costume changes. There's spare instruments (and techs to look after them) so if something goes wrong above they can be swapped out in the space of seconds. There's even a track and dolly system running the full length of the stage so that Taylor can be moved from one end to the other faster than she'd be able to walk.   I don't know the specifics of the Madonna tour to the same degree but my understanding is that a lot of the same techniques are used.
