As Neil said Black Sabbath were in talks, I reckon that means they've got a good chance of headlining R+L, Soni collapsing further won't impact, because if they were going to do Reading, they would have agreed to whether Soni was going ahead or not, and if they were going to do Soni (which I consider unlikely given they stated they couldn't get suitable headliners), then R+L would have failed to reach an agreement with them and presumably have sorted out an alternative.

With regards to Sabbath, I don't think people are saying that R&L will go and get Sabbath now that Soni's cancelled. They're talking about the fact Soni have said they couldn't get suitable headliners, which adds more weight to the rumour that Sabbath are booked for R&L, thus ruling them out of Soni.

Oh yeah, that all makes sense, but Sabbath could have rejected Soni for a huge number of reasons other than being booked for R+L. Soni's failure to get suitable headliners comes down to their failure to keep last year going.

Not very. Neil reckons they will play a UK festival, and it's either Glastonbury or R/L, so he has them on a rumour for both.

I've whacked them on 5th on the main in some of my fake posters, i dunno about subbing NME i see them playing 3rd though

They seem to be pretty big within the indie community, i remember they topped the NME poll for best band at Glastonbury 2011, i think i was watching Plan B at the time but apparently the tent they played in was rammed

I saw them at Oxegen and they were good, shame the crowd was tiny. I think they would be great in the tent at Reading
