So without good old Glasto to go to have you decided to go find another festival or trip away you wouldn't normally go to?

I'm going to go and find some sun abroad for two weeks, give the whole festival thing a miss this year.

Off to Exit Festival in Serbia for a week of sun and sounds..

Also do the usual Bearded, Bestival and Alchemy plus work some others.

That sounds cool. A couple of my friends did something similar. They even hired a big red convertible in homage to Fear & Loathing. They managed to lose the car at one point. One of them even woke up to find a policeman telling him to 'leave my country'.

June - Wychwood (Cheltenham) followed by holiday in Canadian Rockies and Vancouver Island at Glasto time - Big 0 birthday present for Mrs GH.

July - Chagstock (lovely family fest on the edge of Dartmoor)

August - Croissant Neuf Summer Party (Usk).

Just as well there's no Glasto or I don't know how I would have fitted in Mrs GH's birthday trip as she doesn't do festivals.

Alchemy is the only one booked but got 4 efestival weddings this year so no shortage of meeting up with everyone
