Important player for them. Quite tough for Everton to turn c.£10m for a player soon to be 30 though.

Good player though as I said; perhaps not been as influentual as few years ago and struggled with injury couple years ago, but good player all the same. Not overly convinced he was Arsenal's first choice mind.

He was pretty anonymous last season though I think the striker situation is more worrying. Vaughan, Beckford and Yak all gone this summer..

Left with Saha who plays about 1 in 3 and Anichebe who hasn't impressed. Maybe Vellios or Hope can step up? What are the odds on Everton going down currently?
