The minutes applause is just utterly bizarre. I wonder what Muamba thinks about all this (if he's got access to it and able to take it in).

While all the sentiments would be touching, he's probably wondering what the hell is going on? I would find it uncomfortable viewing if I was recovering in my hospital bed watching the build up on tv and seeing everyone reacting as though I was dead ... probably while some poor bugger in the bed next to you is on death's door and can't even muster a visitor.

I find the whole thing absurd.

If it's standard Fulham at Old Trafford you'll take a comfortable 2-0 lead, nothing will happen and then you'll make it 3-0 towards the end.

Given your slips ups against Basel and Blackburn I reckon there are is a slipup coming for Utd before the City game but I doubt we'll cause you any trouble.

Nailed on penalty but I can see why he didn't give it, from his angle and the first time I seen it, it looked like carrick had kicked the ball but he had actually kicked murphys foot onto the ball.

But the Abu nation won't see that, just a penalty not given at old Trafford.

Very lucky with that, but three points in the bag

Yep, they've won 19 titles because they always get help...just laughable

Oh and just because it's not on the bbc report, doesn't mean it didn't happen, 40 mins in:

Yeah he did, but your comment implied that refs are biased towards Utd "help from their friends" do you seriously believe that?

But thats the thing though, yes fulhams was a nailed on penalty and that's all people are going to talk about because it's Utd and old Trafford but the one Utd could have got in the first half from evras cross won't get a mention.

If Utd get all the decisions then why wasn't that given, not nailed on like fulhams but I've seen them given, city got one last week for exactly the same thing, so Utd should feel hard done by

It's because it's Utd that everything that goes for them gets scrutinised over and over, this will probably start a seven page debate on here when the usual people start posting, any other club and it would badly get a mention

I dunno. There was a comment about couple of pages back about how it was a brave refereeing in LFC v Wigan to give the away side two key decisions.

I think that decision (with it being so late on and so clear) will generate more talk though because of the dramatic nature and potential consequences of it though. I mean our decisions (in the league) aren't going to get much talk because who's interested in the battle for 8th place? :D

Is the one Utd should of got the handball? Cause that wasn't a pen imo, his hands weren't 'up' (like city's was against Chelsea) and I'm not sure it hit his hand properly anyway? Don't really remember. Albeit the pen you got off Duff's handball last season I can see why you'd expect a pen from it lol.

Good performance from us anyway, shame we didn't get a point as it'd at least been interesting. I didn't really see it as a pen until the replays though as a Fulham fan though so can't complain too much. Prob would of been given the other way though, thinking back to the 'penalty' Duff conceded and all last season though, which is a shame.

We best batter Norwich...Albeit our season is pretty forgettable now anyway. Jol has hinted he's willing to sell our big names and completely restructure the squad. Doubt most Fulham fans are happy about that but I'd at least think it'll be exciting. Not sure Jol is the right man to 'rebuild' the team though as he continues to make insane tactical decisions.

If I'm going to post it'll only be to laugh at you for going into defensive hard-done-by mode when a penalty should have been awarded against Utd.:lol:

United's final ball was awful last night. They should have created way more chances than they did.

Is Wellbeck actually good enought to play up front for Mancheter United ? He has good games and he is a talented lad but I can't see United challenging the top teams in Europe with him up front. I just don't think he quite has what it takes.

    • Sabrina I actually think is alright, but as an overall thing including Fontaines in the mix it does look very boring.
    • I went to the O2 show as had cheap NHS tickets. I did love the whole Machine Gun Kelly vs MGK Emo/Pop Punk stuff amusing and could see that show going down well. I thought it was so funny watching the video skits of a die hard old skool fan gradually morphing in to an Emo Kid. That show with less old Machine Gun Kelly tunes and more MGK Pop-Punk would be ace.   Pair him against a heavy act on the other stage and jobs a goodun,
    • Not sure if this is allowed, but I have an additional daily ticket which I’m willing to sell for a heavily reduced price. If you, or someone you know wants to go that day, but wouldn’t for the original price, let me know.    Edit: It’s for Friday
    • Couple of standing tickets left on ticketmaster if anyone is still trying
    • Choosing  I think boycotting a festival you would usually attend simply because you don't like one of the acts is pretty petulant to be honest, just go and watch a different stage. There are plenty of the usual slam dunk attendees who would be into him, as well as attracting new festivalgoers too.
