Spurs 3-1 WBA

Wigan 1-2 Sunderland

City 0-1 Liverpool

With all being quite entertaining, and having a dominant team. I fancy City to dominate, but fail to penetrate the Skrtel/Agger pairing and Liverpool to nick a goal.

I understand it. As has already been mentioned, PR reasons and pragmatic reasons.

I think it's a very well written statement actually. A lot better than the pile of w*nk that came out before. It's been a lot more carefully considered, and doesn't really leave them open to much criticism. Puts pressure on the FA to clarify their 'abusive language' issue as well - if the default is 2 games, doubled to 4 for racism, Evra should be getting 2.

Oh well, off to the pub now to watch Suarez for the last time in a while.

Good. Because you're a bit of a dick. I'd prefer you hate Liverpool.

What's wrong with the statement anyway?

1) Of course they support the player still- if they turned round and said actually he was being racist then they were clearly lying in the tribunal.

In the context of a spanish conversation in which it is not offensive yes. As an abusive term or in English- God no.

That was kind of what the tribunal was about- was it used in the first way or the second. He would never have got an 8 game ban for the former.

We've been over this though. Lots. Lets leave it.

Agree to some extent but thats what happens in premiership world of big business. I dont think liverpool have a victim mentality, I think if suarez had been playing for another premiership club, the club and fans would have probably reacted in pretty much the same way.
