(1) Went to bed insanely early on the Friday night - as in 9pm in order to avoid the rain and U2 which were the only things going on in my immediate vacinity.

(2) Comprehensively and repeatedly fell over in the mud. No matter what condition in the past, I have managed to avoid this.

(3) Had a bit of a Mexican stand off with an ice cream vendor. Amazingly he didn't want to sell us an ice cream. Something to do with a conversation he had had with one of my friends the night before! I have no idea what it was about. The vendor broke in the end thus proving that anyone can be bought!

(4) Took some photos

(5) Managed to see only one band during the entire 5 days I was there. I lay down on my back in the mud looking up at the sky and listened to Coldplay. I remember being happy enough!

My eighth.

First time volunteer working, which led to lots of firsts like going to bed earlier and camping offsite.

First time I slipped over (that I can recall).

First time I didn't set foot in the acoustic field.

First time I've really struggled getting about.

    • Geese playing for 1:20 instead of just an hour was a lovely surprise. The energy was great!
    • Oh well that's why then, I assumed it was still the same. Thanks!
