Well this will be our first time, we've been wanting to do it for a very long time. Did a couple of other festivals over the years, Leeds and V a few years ago but always wanted to do the biggy. Now our boys are a bit older we plan on taking them, not sure how that's going to go but I'm sure we will have fun finding out.

Out of all the acts mentioned here recently I would love any of the following, I'm not greedy!

Led Zepplin(I wish) Stones, Roses, Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Prince, Tinie Tempah, Killers, Neil Young, Daft Punk, The Smiths reformed? (I think I would die and go to heaven)

you'll get one or more of these I reckon (the rest, no chance):-

Stones, Roses, Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Prince, Tinie Tempah, Killers, Daft Punk.

What do you think about chances of Lady Gaga to close the Pyramid?

she's one of around 20 or so acts that it's likely to be. There's really not that many options for a headliner when it comes down to it.

As things stand she doesn't seem any more or less likely than most of the possibilities in that list, because there's nothing to particularly make one more likely than the other for many of them from what anyone seems to know.

So there's a chance of Daft Punk then? SOLD!

I reckon Roses and Stones are very probable. The third I'm not sure about, I could imagine it being Gaga but not so sure, I think it would seem very similar to 2011. So for third I'm going to say Pearl Jam, which I guess is quite an outsider.

Pearl Jam would be amazing! Highly doubt it but as they would be classed as one of the heavier headliners that Eavis is not fond of but seemed to change his mind more recently about. I'm sure he said a few months back that it could be likely that not next year but the year after could have a heavier headliner.

Don't get excited by the facebook led zeppelin countdown. Most rumours flying around seem to be that its a DVD release of their o2 performance

Anyone thinking that on Thursday it pops up and says ... "Is headlining Glastonbury" or even "is touring in 2013" is living in cloud cuckoo land

Over on the Backstreets forum there are a couple of people who are fairly certain that Bruce Springsteen is going to return in 2013.

Of course, I was fairly certain I was going to win the lottery last week and didn't.

Kev

if he is, I guess that's for the people who somehow missed how bland and boring he was last time. :P

    • No dramas man, I just like to follow others journeys as well. Get the inspiration, give out inspiration and the outdoors is the clear the head place to do it. I'm heading out for a easy trail run today I think, 10k- 10 mile we'll see how we go. I've got a half marathon in October I'm well unprepared for hahs
    • The Cheap Thrills at Mountford Hall, Liverpool.    They've been around for a while and have built up a large local following. Last night was their biggest yet, at a sold out 2,200 capacity venue.    It was a big old joyous, indie singalong from start to finish, the band clearly having the time of their lives. The debut album is out next month and they seem to be going down well on the festival circuit, maybe their time has finally come.   2 supports, I unfortunately missed Credits but the few songs they have on Spotify sound good, Americana vibes. The other was M60, reportedly Gary Neville's favourite band. If that's true, he's as clueless about music as he is football. To be fair, their sound was poor, maybe with a clearer sound they'd have been better but it was pretty dull.
    • I can see them all merging along with the Tory’s . Restore curently couldn’t muster enough candidates to be a viable option . I lasted 4 mins and couldn’t watch any more . Lowe is just dull along with racist
