Madonna is almost certainly not playing. I asked a friend who works with her on her live shows. He said he hadn't heard anything and she's not a big fan of festivals. Not 100% conclusive but pretty much.

Jesus. Fucking. Christ.

Madonna is NOT fucking playing, don't even waste your time discussing it! Some dude says their their teacher has someone "in the know"? OK, my dog says Led Zep are playing. Believe that? Of course you don't. There's some bullshit on this site, associated with fantasists of the highest order, but anyone who even contributes to this particular diversion of a thread that has had some ropey tangents, needs to lock themselves away and slap themselves about the face.

You. Are. Dickheads. Stop attracting my attention to this thread unless you have any genuine developments or an interesting suggestion.

Tell you what, for shits and giggles, I'll give at least a semi orignal headliner suggestion, that may or may not have been mentioned so far in this thread... How's about Elton? That'd be a fun addition...

Fuck you knobhead, was I saying Elton was playing? No. Back down you penis. If you're saying that wasn't an interesting suggestion, can you suggest why? The very fact that he IS playing Bestival should make you back down from your pissy stance, you tool.

No it doesn't. Exclusivisity has been shown to be a fairly loose noose for a number of years. No need for you to be a dick though. A normal person would have said "that would have been interesting if it wasn't for: etc". Unlike MrIdeoteque you chose to approach it like a johnson.

    • RIP Roy Hattersley
    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
