Hmmmmm, despite Pulp 'not doing anything' after the Sheffield gig, they're now appearing on Jonathan Ross on the 2nd of next month. I could still see them headlining Glastonbury with a new album, especially seeing as they've been in the studio

So not been on most of the day and just been reading my way through all the posts. So basically I've missed Fleetwood Mac and David Bowie being ruled out. Obv never expected Bowie and had no interest in Mac, so all round a good news day!

And doesn't asking Bowie tend to suggest Glasto have no idea at all about his third headliner!

How are Radiohead seen as a safe booking whereas a band that headlined 3 years ago (Blur) aren't?

I like Blur but booking them again after only 2 festivals since their last performance would just be lame and boring.

Pretty Realistic but would be pretty good!!!

No major clashes as well (which at Glasto can be bloody irritating!!)

Plus chucked in a couple wildcards to keep things interesting!

    • I honestly didn't know it had, I still thought it was where the view overlooked the lake and view.   I think my decision not to attend this year at least was justified. Biffy was the big draw but after Finsbury I knew they wouldn't play what I want to hear again and well work also got in the way. Believed interesting to hear if Libertines were any good as they were also a pull but Sunday did nothing for me really with all my acts on Friday and Saturday.

    • Knocked Loose have been announced for Wacken, that's them at Bloodstock as well   I think they'd headline over Malev
    • I hate tradmill running with a passion lol. Yeah the 1km reps are the one along with hill reps. That's what I did last time.  It's very a very hot summer and job circumstances to stay at the consistent level I was for the marathon earlier in the year. I've got a full set of the main distance new PBs this year. 10k isn't a problem most days but even today I went out deciding just over 5 mile was enough between recovery cruise and steady.
    • There is also a solid argument from Seventeen already that not enough people actually care if they book them also.
