right, ive racked my tiny brain for all possible headliners i can think of that are likely!

:P

Seem most likely:

PULP :)

RADIOHEAD :)

ARCADE FIRE :)

KASABIAN :)

THE CURE :)

seems to be everyones dreamy headliners:

DAFT PUNK(maybe suited for other stage headliner though?)

THE ROLLING STONES

LED ZEPELIN

PINK FLOYD members

FLEETWOOD MAC

PAUL MCCARTNEY(again,please!)

red hot chili peppers?

( i know perhaps the eavis's arent fans, but if the new album is good, and the band play the hits,it could go down well,a massive band thats never played let alone never headlined before!)they have some bad headline shows, but have had good ones too.

big acts for pyramid stage:

noel gallagher( maybe with johnny marr alongside him on guitar aswell?)

lou reed,

iggy and the stooges,

dolly parton,

elton john,

billy bragg(aswell as left field curator and performer still, need his words to get to the big stage!)

chuck berry,

robert plant,

paul weller,

some form of the beach boys appearing(remaining members with touring members),

bootleg beatles!

pink floyd cover band if not pink floyd members there themselves.

jack penate?

jamie t?,

dylan?

amy winehouse?,

Thinking about possible album cycles:

Arcade Fire

Take That

Lady Gaga

Jay Z

Kanye West

Jay Z + Kanye West

Biffy Clyro (if people saying Mumford are big enough then who knows?)

The Killers

Muse (doubt so soon after 2010)

Then there is obviously the outsider, more established headliners from leftfield such as:

Elton John

Radiohead

R.E.M.

Daft Punk

Macca

Damon Albarn in some form

Bowie

The Cure

Stone Roses

Beach Boys

Animal Collective...

I still think though that 2013 where you will see acts like Foals, Wild Beasts etc getting bumped up the lineups closer to the top of the Other Stage and Pyramid. (That is my hope anyway)

Think the xx will be back by 2013 as well, will be interesting to see where they slot in.

Radiohead just posted a video of them playing bloom this year and wrote this:

'Yes it rains at the end, and the wet smudges the lights and everything spins out nicely.

We loved playing at Glastonbury, and can't wait to do it again soon

Thanks to Polar1one for making the video.

THE ROLLING STONES

with the 2nd headliners as:

PULP (2nd to radiohead)

For me, I would like:

Fri - The Arcade Fire.

Sat - any old shit that would attract the chair brigade and people who want to talk to their mates/do their makeup/get bothered about who is standing in 'their' space through the gig then tell everyone "oh, yaaaahh, I was at <insert bollocks> and it was, like, the best gig evaaahhh!", let's say the rolling stones, radiohead or some other predictable nonsense.

Sun - Madonna.

With the other stage hosting:

Fri - Currently popular indie landfill or dance tinged shite performed by 30 somethings trying to dress like 20 somethings to impress teenagers whilst looking like they've spent 18 months on heroin, living in a bedsit in streatham and selling mobile phones at cashconverters is their main source of income.

Sat - Pearl Jam.

Sun - Bjork.

That way I can get my pyramid fix on the friday and enjoy 2 great gigs away from the sheep the next 2 days ;)

    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
    • Similar feelings to a few others on here. Not my personal favourite edition but a long way from giving up on it. Felt overcrowded at times and there are just too many people there that don't seem to like music that much! Hardly went to main stages which was the plan. Highlights Ralphie Choo, rusowsky, Gorillaz, Geese, Gelli Haha, The Sophs, PinkPantheress, Dijon. Accommodation booked for next year. Thanks for your company and comments over the past year.
