Dont know the answer to this but would blur actully get a big crowd with the general reading and leeds crowd? Was at front for radiohead 2009 but got told they had pretty small crowd.

Aren't Blur an exclusive for London Live?

Pulp got the biggest crowd of the festival last year so Blur would get a huge crowd.

Radiohead was a number of factors

1) Different type of band to Blur in that they don't have big hits that everyone knows

2) It was a very lad rock weekend- Arctics and KoL being the other headliners. Radiohead aren't lad rock

3) The headliners on other stages were really strong. I left halfway through Radiohead to see Deadmau5, and La Roux was in the FR tent at the peak of her popularity whilst the rockers had Lostprophets in the NME tent

Are people really that bothered about knowing the headliners before the announcement? It really doesn't make a difference to me as I'm normally more interested in the undercard. But when tickets come out its just a simple 2 tab job, one for seetickets, one for the line-up.
