Kiss (European Exclusive), Queen with Adam Lambert (World Exclusive), and Faith No More (UK Exclusive) have been confirmed as headlining this summer's Sonisphere

KISS were already playing a few gigs this year long before Soni was announced.

Blimey-couple of days off here and about 75+ pages to read through!

Awesome news about Tenacious D if true.

As for throwing some different names into the hat:

Lenny Kravitz (doing some European festivals this year-just a different name to throw into the pot!)

Stevie Wonder (did Glasto and was freakin awesome)

AC/DC (unlikely but still)

going to chuck this out there guys.

Neil has hinted, well enough so that Snoop Dogg has not totally cancelled all his shows and that he's booked into a summer fest. My 1st thought it that it's T, but if he's around, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg would be a huge booking.

    • I agree that we’ll never really know up until the concert happens (and even then we still may not know) but I think promoters are having to come up with new tactics to combat ‘blue dot fever’ (already hating that phrase!) and trying to imply that concerts are selling better than they actually are / available tickets are in short supply is definitely one of them.    To add though, it is quite common at the O2 Arena for the rear blocks to not go on sale (and then remain closed for the concert and covered over to hide the empty seats). And equally common for standing to sell out first, then side/lower tier seating next and rear/upper tier seating last.    Jungle’s two concerts at the O2 are a good comparison for this - for their 1st (announced) date, all blocks are on sale and seats in all sections remain unsold, whereas for their 2nd date, the rear blocks are greyed out (more so than for Muse) and equally lots of seats remain unsold in the blue blocks. Standing for both concerts are showing as sold out.
    • MGK can and should headline. I was at one of his shows earlier in the year as a very casual fan, and there were a lot of alt people there. The show was actually class and he completely won me over. Anyone who opposes him headlining is just a gatekeeper imo, we need to move with the times.
    • Ultimately Glasto is just part of the festival circuit, however special we may think it is. The vast majority of its headliners have done many others
    • From Magyar’s FB:   ”Our country's energy and water supply is stable. As of today, voluntary consumption reduction is no longer necessary. The turbine at the Paks power plant is generating stably. Thanks to precipitation in Austria, the water level of the Danube will temporarily rise by 20–30 centimeters. Thank you, Hungary, for the unprecedented national unity shown in recent days! We have much to be proud of, and much to carry forward into the period ahead.”
    • I hope it stays under £400.  A lot of us aren't flush with cash.  Charities are great but do they need £1 mil (I jest)
