was thinking about trying this for a while so here goes .

if you know of any special offers ie beer food etc or things that are good value for money ie chairs anything really and reliable things ie trainers, tents any thing that you think would help another member for glasto or any other festi or party then pop it on here and share it with others .

not sure where this will go but here we go

thanks :D

this thread should come in handy, need a new tent this year after mine finally gave way and split after 5 festivals!...not bad for a tesco value one! although it did leak a little in 2009 and at IOW 2010! but i'm looking for something a bit better quality and something that will hopefully last, but don't want to pay over the odds, any suggestions are welcome!

I bought one of these today:

http://www.millets.co.uk/product/093129/eh-avon.html

£32 for a tent that is usually 3 times the price! Bargain. I already own one and it has done many festivals, however last year my daughter and I decorated it to look like a tortoise, so I decided that for £32 I would buy a replacement 'sans tortoise'

These are great tents, took some heavy rain on Thurs/Fri at glasto 2009, no worries.

Ah, good quality camping gear is an investment for years to come. Always money well spent imo. I used to do festivals in a poundstretcher tent (£9.99!) and cannot believe that I spent so many nights suffering now.
