recent interview i read somewhere..Q perhaps...asked her if she would be doing any festivals....her reply was pretty much a 'no' due to her having a phobia of large crowds...not sure if her record company will be sympathetic to it though...

Maybe if she wrote some decent songs she would feel a bit more confident about performing them live?

I'd be terrified people werent going to show up if I had to go out and sing that crap too.

Hmmm didn't know she didn't like festivals.

I'd given the missus and her sister the guarantee that she'll be there I also said it about Cee-Lo Green and Biffy months ago, so hopefully I won't be proved wrong. I wouldn't mind seeing her, but £29 for the Manchester Apollo shows are a bit pricey for my liking

Hopefully she'll play anyway and is going to be getting loads of media pushing over next few months.

Just hope I'm right in assuming that Janelle Monae is probably going to be likely to play (65.78% is my calculated likelihood )

I was there in 2007? when she performed in the Guardian Lounge. Just as she went on to do an acoustic set it started to chuck it down and everyone just piled into the tent making loads of noise.

I was so impressed I saw her at Matt & Phreds Jazz bar not long after I got home.

She said: "I don't do festivals. The thought scares the life out of me, even talking about it. The thought of that many people coming to see you or no-one coming to see you is terrifying."

She added: "I'm crippled by fear all the time. It gets worse the more things I do. I love singing but I still feel like I'm going to be kicked out of the club any second. I find it weird."

I always think the same thing when I listen to it "great voice, no songs". Did the same with that Rumer when I listened to her album. Shame, but all it takes is a rush of inspiration or working with a decent songwriter and she'll be quids in

Bugger, just gone to get tickets for her tour on the pre-sale, just incase she isn't playing Glastonbury for missus's birthday present.

All sold out.

A few hundred are available on Ebay and the like though. :s
