agreed. dunno how many times i've been at a game and thought 'can't wait to see that when i get home'. but i still know where i'd rather be though.

Me too.

But the amount of times watching a game in the flesh where I want to see an instant replay of an incident is huge. TV gives a view it's not possible to have from the stands certainly no less than in reverse.

As for Baresi, Maldini etc, two of the best players of all time, never mind defenders. Theres nobody in the world at the moment playing consistently at that level.

Just watching SSN and Redknapp is on there live and he said that Bayern Munich were buying Van der Vaart yesterday for £18million but it fell through and then the chairman rang him at 4pm this afternoon and said that they can buy him for £8million so Harry said yeah lets sign him

£10 million drop in 24hours!!!!

EDIT- Also said they tried to sign Ryan Babel but Liverpool wouldn't sell him [probably cus they were trying to use him in the Carlton Cole deal]

And the heaviest drinkers too. Although Ronaldinho is as fit as ever now, apparently hes put in a great pre season. As has Pato. Believe it when I see it though.

On it's day, it'll be unplayable. It's got everything.

I refuse to believe Van Der Vaart is worth the less than Scott Parker. I quite rate Parker, but VDV for £8m is one of the best deals I can remember.

There is something a bit off about it, be interesting to see if he lasts more than a season before being sold for a lot, lot more.
