I really like Mark Knopfler, he's a very underrated guitarist.

Would be cool to see him at the festival, maybe in the acoustic tent, since his latest album "Get Lucky" leans more towards that kind of style?

I would definitely enjoy an Acoustic Tent set by Mark Knopfler and hope that it happens.

I reckon he's got to be amongst the all time great guitarists. He can do the fast twiddly fingers bit but can also do the sensitive. Also has written a great range of material from film score for Local Hero through to good stadium rock.

Mind you I think the Brothers on this track doesn't mean the sort you drink.

I found the later Dire Straits stuff a bit cheapo, but slightly earlier stuff like Telegraph Road, Private Investigations, Sultans... all excellent.

Can't really see it happening but if it did then I'd be there. The guy's control over his instrument is 2nd to none.

He's possibly a little bit 'Dad Rock' for Glasto though. whatever 'Dad Rock' is supposed to be?
