Further to previous robot arm posts.

We have progressed to control through a Xbox 360 controller. :D

We have rotate left/right and shoulder up/down on the left thumbstick, elbow up/down via right stick and the claw via the analogue triggers. :D

Here's my buddy putting it through it's paces. We have been grinning like loons all afternoon after sorting this. When we could get the controller back off his kids. :)

I've spent a couple of hours downloading some of my art work on to an on line gallery website. I don't hold any hope of selling any, but you never know - at least I've met them halfway now as there was no chance of selling any while there was just me looking at them in my house.

Good luck with it yog, hope it goes well :)

I finally decided to clean my office (small little bedroom) up this morning at about 5am, and I'm still at it. I have now taken out 14 black bin bags of rubbish and crap. I had no idea that there was so much in the room - although it was becoming difficult to get in and out of the room because of the crap blocking the door. Actually pulling my finger out and finally sorting it is making me happy today.

How big is your little room? Is it a Tardis?

It's really not that big a room. It was just that the entire floor was almost a foot deep in stuff, some of it of value and much of it not so. In addition I have finally cleared all the shelving in there of 25 years worth of ex work related stuff. All I've kept it the certificates for various courses and qualifications etc - the rest has now gone. Just got to do a little bit more and it'll actually look alright in here again.

Had McDonalds for the first time in about 4 weeks ....I think I can safely say I've broken the addiction, and my Big Mac tasted absolutely horrible!

Could go in the annoyed thread I suppose...but I am going see it as a positive and put extra effort into completely stamping it out!

Yes, I should sort out all our clutter.

I had half a tune in my head and couldn't remember what the song was, or enough lyrics to google it. All I could remember was that t had Talk in the title and the band was Somebody Boys.

Then Eureka! Remembered 'too much small talk makes for a small mind' and it's Talk Talk Talk - the Ordinary Boys.

I'm happy now :)

Well, once I worked out what it was, it's now blessedly gone from my head :D

Yes, and in to mine! I haven't heard of this band, but have a back ground feeling I should in order to gain full perspective. That said, that would require effort - something which eludes me right now. I may have to come back to this one.

    • Tbf that happened to me in 2022 so not a one off. 40 euros to drive down 3 streets. I'd have done a runner but the reason for getting the taxi in the first place is cos I couldn't walk no more.
    • I was fully prepared (waterproof jacket, extra pair of socks, foldable umbrella), but after four hours in the rain (from Geese through Oklou to Florence Road), it was just too much. Already at the hotel, let's hope tomorrow's better.
    • It’s rare that I watch question time, but I almost felt sorry for Kenyon, he seemed like a guy just brought off the street which effectively is what he was, made worse by the fact Burnham and the Tory guy were very strong debaters. I think Burnham was very aware not to go too hard on Kenyon and risk him getting sympathy, in fact he pretty much ignored him.
