Things that ur happy about

I've always wanted a mannequin or two to have about the house. I've excelled myself and bought a whole tribe of them off ebay for a reasonable sum of money. There's 9 full mannequins and some other mannequin parts. I'm going to have them dressed up in various positions on the patio and garden to the rear of my property. This really is going to set the cat amongst the pigeons when the neighbours return from holiday. I have already installed a completely unecessary amount of pub tables and chairs in the back garden while they are away. It's going to be interesting explaining my concept of art to people whose views on it will undoubtedly differ so very wildly. I don't want to piss them off at all, but feel I need to do what's right before time runs out. I've already spent too much time in the past regreting things and procrastinating. So, I'm happy because I'm finally pulling my finger out and enjoying life.

Just picked up the mannequins. They are ace, so that makes me happy. The woman I bought them off indicated that she had perverts take an interest in her mannequins (where's Larry Grayson when you need him? Oh, that's right, he's dead). I didn't ask her how she came to the conclusion they were perverts. I rather wish I'd asked now though.

I'm assuming they were curious about whether they were anatomically correct, maybe.

Ah, so they were "RealDoll.com" mannequins.

ALL IS EXPLAINED!

Is it? Fortunately they are not those type of mannequins. They wouldn't do at all for the look I want. These are the normal flesh toned hard plastic type. You'd give yourself an injury trying to give one of these one. I picked them up today from a fancy dress shop not a sex shop.

well that's not going to give as much shock value to your neighbours as you could have done.

You're right. I've let the side down. Maybe I could stand in amongst the mannequins and not move an inch for about 15 minutes, then dance around a little, and then stop dead still again for another 15 minutes etc etc. That should have the required effect.

That should do it.

It reminds me of a story my husband tells, of his father staring at a mannequin in a shop for ages - till it moved. The mannequin was actually a shop assistant, in that heavy makeup they used to like to wear.

LOL, that reminded me of one of the best lines in Red Dwarf.

Lister: "I'm tell you, she was so beautiful she could have worked at the perfume counter in Boots".

that the act I recommended to a festival did the biz, despite them having a duff slot and a downpour mid set ... the fact that no one ran away in that rain proved he'd hooked the crowd. :D

Great when you do that for a fest and it works. A couple of bands I recommended a few years ago went down well that having booked them blind on my say so and put them on mid bill, they were re-booked the following year as bill toppers.

My soul, my very being had a wobble at the weekend. It wasn't a pleasant wobble. Most disturbing at the time in fact. It's over now. I can see the light and the way forward again. I've still got to shake off the affects of such a violent and unexpected battering though. However, I'm back on the right path and that makes me happy.

My new guitar came :D I am actually going learn more than a few chords this time I think :P

I brought myself a Fender Modern Player Telecaster Thin line deluxe and its lovely :D (With a Fender Mustang I amp)

It's my first electric and so much more fun playing the intro to 7 Nation Army on it than an a shity acoustic from Argos :P

Last year I had a lot of trouble with a flatmate who was giving me lots of grief, I was extremely nervous and anxious all the time even around my friends.

I'm happy to say that this year I am living with people who I've been mates with since the start of uni, there is 7 of us all together, it's a big house and the atmosphere is so much better then the uncomfortable one last year. This is the most relaxed I've ever felt in a long time, and I'm really really happy about it. Said flatmate has gone to brazil for 6 months so it's probably highly likely that I will never have to see him again, let alone put up with his bullshit.

I have a huge grin on my face as I'm typing this! :D
