spelling mistakes are fine but ones like 'loose' when they mean 'lose' is so frustrating. given that 'loose' is also a fairly common word. how do people think that 'loose' is spelled if they spell 'lose' with a double 'o'.

guess i'm easily annoyed :D

Pedestrians who don't look where they're going relative to other pedestrians.

You can be walking down a busy high street and suddenly some c**t in front of you will stop walking and you career into the back of them, or some twat will come out of a shop and not look where they're going and somebody will go straight into them.

Or is it just me?

When I was little my mum used to smack me roungd the head for getting in people's way. Nowadays people have no spatial awareness regarding other people whatsoever.

I haven't scanned all the pages so this one might have been said before - but my pet hate is when you pull up behind someone else at the lights who is gong straight on from the right hand lane, and then just after the lights change, they move forward very slowly and THEN indicate right!

Christmas presents of cheap plastic tat made in China. I'd rather have nothing than something I don't need that's only going to be thrown away after Christmas. Better still, I'd rather the giver sent the money to Oxfam or Wateraid.

I got a train the other day, and the way off from the platform to the main concourse was an escalator just wide enought for one person. The woman in front of me got to the top and just stopped, totally oblivious to the 100 people behind her who had no way around her.

    • I don’t think the festival automatically ‘need’ to have a female headliner if you have strong female headliners on the Other Stage (which I reckon will be Rosalia and Phoebe Bridgers), perhaps a female legend (praying for Annie, will take Cher), and a few female/mix gendered subs on the Pyramid (maybe London Grammar, The xx). From what I’ve seen of Sabrina, her team prioritises the pay day and I think she will be doing Wembley over Glasto weekend.   One thing I’ve noticed is a lot of the suggestions would be first time headliners and I can’t work out when the last time was that the festival had three artists top the bill that hadn’t topped it before? It seems to be something they like to do to make sure they have a ‘safe’ headliner that will land well with the masses. Plenty of names in that hat that could step back up next summer and should/could be about: Billie Eilish, Adele, Foo Fighters, The Cure, Radiohead, U2…hell, if Beyoncé is really planning to release a ‘rock n roll’ album to complete her Renaissance trilogy, Glastonbury would be a great place to ‘kick off’ that campaign for her.   And there’s always the Rihanna rumour. Her husband (I think) said this week she’s in the studio.
    • And all (or all but one) of the secret sets repeats though?
    • 1. Coming with my sister (our 4th Sziget together) 2. 3 days (Thursday-Saturday). Would rather do Tuesday-Thursday but not enough AL 😞 3. Wednesday evening  4. Apartment  5. FATM (will be my 10th Florence’s gig) 6. Parcels/Paris Paloma
    • Temperature was the main issue - luke warm at best
