Muse not headliners? Hard to understand how a band selling out Wembley multiple times is not automatically a headliner Neil. Unless youve got something else that we're unaware of. They are huge at the moment. Their skyscraper set on the opening of the current tour is a total pisstake.

In fairness to Muse, not my cup of tea, but will put on a riproarer of a show and could (repeat could) be the highlight of the whole festival. Emotional for them aswell what with the events of their . Only issue I would have is if Radiohead are the Saturday night headliner. Too similar for me. Both bands appealing to the malnourished-mixed-up-youth-should-know-better demographic.

I'll prolly be elsewhere on site by the time Muse take the stage but wouldnt mind hearing that megariff from Knights of Cydonia at all. A brute!

Hmmm, can't say I'm too excited. I've seen them four times and each show was awesome, but that's kind of it. It's been so easy to see them over the past five years that anyone in a major city has had a dozen opportunities at reasonable prices and ticket demand, so it's not exactly special except in the sense that any great set is special. That, and the new album is a tremendous disappointment. Plus, it's not a big secret that they will be playing all the festivals this year including Coachella and Lollapalooza.

I can't imagine a band that sells out two nights Wembley Stadium as being anything but a headliner, so I guess that will be the night I get to Trash City and Shangri-la early, unless there is something great in the Peel or on the Other stage, and there usually is, so win either way. Still hoping the last headliner is Pulp, Bowie, Prince, Radiohead, the Stones, or Zeppelin, but none of them seem that likely. Just no Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys, Killers, KoL, please.

Appreciate the Muse thing Neil but if you were to take a stab at predicting Sat and Sun's Pyramid headliner what would you go for at this stage ?

I'd guess that Muse are the Sunday headliner, and that Coldplay or Radiohead are the Saturday headliner.

I suspect that Coldplay will be on the bill somewhere even if they don't headline, given Chris Martin's attachment for it - it's not like playing before (say) U2 would be seen as tarnishing them as being on a slide downwards.

If this happens ill be happy, Muse are a top band who i'd love to see play live. Although i do fall into thr younger generation so its probably a given that if be there.

I dont think that they'll headline. Maybe below the Sunday night headliner.

I can't really believe they wouldn't headline, they did in 04 and they were not as well known as they are now. The guys are doing 2 nights at Wembley Stadium. Eavis would have to have two pretty special acts ready for Muse not to be headlining.

I'm still hoping they're the Sunday and Stones are the Saturday.

I'm more than happy with them headlining, my favourite live band nobody comes close in my opinion. I can't think of a better way to end the festival if they do headline the sunday.
