If Pulp is doing a reunion gig in 2012, that's where I will be. Otherwise, I will probably save money and stay home and go to Coachella and maybe one other fest (Sasquatch or Bonnaroo). Or if I have the $$, then Latitude or Roskilde or Fuji Rock. Would love to go to Fuji Rock someday.

Holmfirth Festival of the Performing Arts

Which will be me and friends, with a load of beer (and things) sitting in the garden for a few days watching G on the telly through the window.

Sonar is good, it's like two different festivals, the day time events in the City centre, and the night time events in massive aircraft hangers a few miles out from the centre.

As it is a city based festival, there's lots going on around the city, including partying on the beach, and the anti-Sonar festival, where travellers set up soundsystems blasting out techno, think it goes on for 3 days non-stop, I normally visit it for a few hours immediately after Sonar's Saturday night partying finishes, until it gets too hot.

As for The Big Chill, that has to be my fave festival apart from Glastonbury. It's a great vibe, friendly people and good music in a beautiful location.

    • Feel Stevie Wonder should be in the conversation as a random Michael Eavis headliner ala Neil Young last year.... If we did get a M.E pick for one of the headliner slots, who else would be in the mix do we think? Cher? Rolling Stones? Nicks/Fleetwood?
    • That interview was long enough ago for Madonna to have been offered a 3rd BST to say no to Glastonbury and Olivia Dean to have been asked.

    • Funny if after this they've managed to get Oasis and nobody has a clue.   Also, dunno if it's just me but I can't see any betting odds anymore, William Hill or otherwise. Doesn't take much for that market to change, or come down, as the little Fontaines flurry showed 😅
