I'm hopinh Jack tours the new stripes album next year but i'm starting to think they won't tour it.

Which leaves dead weather clear to tour as they have nearly finished their second album.

They even played a few new songs on the recent tour, sounded great.

i thought their Park Stage set this year was below-average. i was well up for it and near the front at the beginning, but by the end i was back on the grass on the hill, and nodded off to sleep for a bit.

Just my opinion obviously but they really ought to pack in now,a shocking band!!!

I've listened to Horehound a couple of times on Spotify and think it's very hot and cold. Some tracks are great others are bland and forgettable. They were good on Jools Holland the other week though.

Oh, and Allison whateverhernameis is NOT fit and Jack W(S)hite needs to sort his hair out! That's ridiculous!

Well as i've said i'm hoping for the Stripes to be on but i like jack white trying different things out and to me they are always good.

Question ... If you heard the Dead Weather album and didn't know Jack White was in them would you still think they were amazing... No.... Thought as much.

I would still like the sound as i like the Kills and the way Allison Mosshart sings. There aren't that many rock chics around at the moment.

Saw them at Brixton a few weeks ago,good gig.

Jack is a regular at Glasto so I would think he would definitely be there for the 40th,fingers crossed its with White Stripes!

So the new album is due for March. Its strange because their tour finishes about then so i duno if they will just do a load more shows for the new album.

Plus as i've said a new Stripes album is due 2010.

I would love a return of the Raconeturs they are one of the best bands I have seen at a festival really enjoyed them. But White stripes would be bloody good.
