RussellF
2010 (and can we all start calling it twenty ten please? two thousand and xxx is so last millennium ) will be my first Glasto, and after digesting the food thread, I'm wondering what's the most efficient/drinkable unchilled beverage to bring. Any veterans care to share their tipple of choice? I'm anticipating a resounding response of Brothers, but I'm more after advice on what to bring. OneLittleFish
Don't take tequila - it's a very bad idea. Apologies to all at the eFests meet as a result

Make tea not war
A few boxes or rose wine. Does taste a bit like ribena when its not really chilled but does the trick nicely.
Langdale Wolf
Crate of lager and hipflask of either Havana Club Blanco or Makers Mark. Just too much quality alcohol on site to warrant going too mad.

rabid
For those late night/early mornings at the stone circle a hipflask full of cherry brandy+amaretto mix goes down nicely.

Doghorse
I always take Westons 8% organic cider, as its flat, strong and tasty at room temperature and comes in a box like wine. Sambuca is also another favourite, careful if you trying to make flaming ones though close to your tent

ukslim
It's fairly obvious: strength = efficiency. So take the strongest drink you can enjoy neat. Vodka and whisky work very well. If that's too strong for you, red wine in boxes. That's easier to drink at a "socialble" pace too. You could experiment with in-between stuff. Port, sherry. Um, liquers (the alcopops of the strong drink world).
