Just the thought of many of the above has got me frothing with excitement. Some great calls.

Love the idea of B.B. King. Also other good bluesmen would include John Mayall and pretty well any of his protegees including Walter Trout and Buddy Whittingham. Fleetwood Mac would be tremendous.

One of the best blues players I've ever seen, who I'd really like to return is Bonnie Raitt.

Deaf School (Mrs Suggs' excellent cult 70s Liverpool band, now reformed) - Avalon ?

Magazine - criminally under-rated 70s post-punk - ideal for JP stage

Porcupine Tree - should have played in 98 but Avalon stage was closed due to the flooding. Their star is in the ascendancy, not everybody's cup of darjeeling but a damn fine live band.

Curved Air - played IOW a couple of years ago so why not Glasto

The Hamsters - play loads of festies but never Glasto as far as I know

Paul Rodgers - The Voice - one of the finest rock voices ever and still very much on top of his game. (Bad Company or Free would be even better, of course !)
