Clapton.

I don't really give a shit about all those stupid things he said decades ago - the guy is one of my heroes and a musical god. I'd love to see him at Glastonbury. He hasn't played before has he?

Sunday night on the Pyramid Stage for some blues how it should be played? F**k yes.

what do you mean "stupid things he said decades ago"? He's still saying stupid things, and following thru with stupid actions - he played a Countryside Alliance benefit a couple of years back. Kill those foxes, yeah. :)

Oh man that would've been soooo goood!!! Damn it all for only being 8 and not having hippie parents!

it wasn't as good as it sounds ..... The Cure were their very normal selves, just going thru the motions in a most unexciting way, and the Furs were mostly playing stuff from Mirror Moves. :)

And then there was the rain - it chucked it down just as the Furs started.

Believe it or not but The Cure, my favourite band, and I've never seen them play! :) The only chance recently was at Wembley Arena (which I hate!) and for about £50! Hit or miss as I've heard, I've already ruined one of my dreams by going to see The Cult (Soooooo bad live!!!) I don't think I wanna ruin The Cure as well!*

*Unless they play a nice little small venue somewhere

This does not include the O2!! :)

Stevie Wonder has to headline one year

Lionel Richie

Has Horace Andy ever done a solo show??

Kiss

Prince!!!!

Sigur Ros - don't remember ever playing??

Sly and the Family Stone

Any classic Hip Hop... Wu-Tang, Public Enemy, NWA, Sugarhill Gang

I could go on, but those are certainly glaring omissions from the glasto back catalogue (obviously Jacko is a must but its never been, or ever going to be very realistic is it?)

am pretty sure he has.

2nd from top on the Other Stage on the Sunday in about 2003.

Sly and the Family Stone

funnily enough, I personally caused them to get booked for Lovebox a few years back.

And the guy who books Lovebox (or at least some of it) is the guy who books the Pyramid, Other & JP stages for Glasto. So I'd guess that they weren't good enough for him to think "I must get them for Glasto".

But at a festie last summer, that booker was watching a certain Richie Havens, and even got his camera out to take a pic or three which amused me (after all, it's not like he doesn't get to meet lots of top acts). And I suggested he should get him for Glasto this year, so you never know..... :)

Blind Faith

they existed for 5 minutes in 1969 playing a free gig in Hyde Park in June of that year. I was there and think it would be great if they headlined the Sunday night closing with "I'm wasted and can't find my way home". The bass player Ric Grech died in 1990 but Clapton, Winwood and Baker are still with us.
