About damn time Seth McFarlane got a movie to his name. There hasn't been a genuinely funny laugh out loud film since like what - Anchorman/Team America around 2005/6? There's a lesson there - give movie money to TV writers and stop giving it to bullshit "funny movie" tossers.

We've had OK, funny-ish movies, but nothing that's fucking hilarious.

Saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind this morning. I honestly thought I had seen it but extremely glad I have now. I think Carey can be hit or miss but the entire cast excelled :-)

Just watched High Fidelity again. It's a pretty decent film but the book is definately better.

I saw Pirates the new Aardman film the other day, pretty good but I can't imagine ever wanting to see it again tho. I did like the Pirates having a Blue Peter's badge, nice touch.
