Agree about Olivia Coleman and also would add tilda swinton. Nothing amazing about brad pitt in moneyball in my opinion. He just got nominated as he is brad pitt and they liked the film.

Well Tyrannosaur was excellent. Quite brutal at times but an excellent story and some great performances all round. Love films like this as you can relate to it's bleakness far more than any American movie.

Started watching 'Crimson Tide' last night with Denzel Washington and Gene Hackman but fell asleep as I was shattered.Looked really good to me though and noticed quite afew actors popping up in tiny hardly speaking roles who later went on to find fame.My favourate spot was 'Fat Mike' from the tv show 'Chuck'.Although spotting these actors kind of took me out of the film lol.

I'm sorry but you are wrong IMHO, it's a decent film, but it's certainly not worthy of anything other than critical acclaim. A performance like Olivia Coleman gave in tyrannosaur is what shows how bollocks the awards are, Gleeson was just likeable in the guard.
