  1. Past hour
  2. Silver Hayes today would be amazing. When does Arcadia drop? Usually one of the last isn’t it?
  3. Depends on definition of know. I've often heard of quite a few but never actually heard them. Bring back The Gully! I saw a couple of acts there.
  4. Friday night is an absolute nightmare - the mood could take me to any of those headliners, each looking very good! Dua, Fontaines, Jungle, Skindred… take your pick! Fast forward to Saturday night - and I’m struggling for anything 😂 The National vs Justice on Sunday to close is also cruel! Sure there will be more come out of the woodwork when all the set times are announced!
  5. Read something last week about UK Snooker and the Council looking at developing something across the road from the Crucible with a walkway across to join the two. Can only presume that is the O2 site. Sheffield is crying out for something like a 4K capacity venue. Ideal would be where Cole Brothers. Flatten that and build a multi purpose venue with bars and eateries that can be used for gigs, comedy and the Snooker.
  6. I'll go first. Acts you'll know: 3. Acts you'll watch: 0.
  7. Does Oxlyers tend to flood in muddy years?
  8. I reckon we get 3 announcements this week, out of: Silver Hayes New map Kidzfield Theatre & Circus The Common Leftfield
  9. Quick Q - Can we park in hospitality parking if two of our group have tickets for there but the rest don't? I'm presuming they'll just ask to see one ticket right?
  10. Silver Hayes today then, might run a sweep on how many acts I've heard of.
  11. If you positioned yourself to the right side of Lil Simz, you could easily make a quick getaway and catch the majority of The Streets?
  12. PJ Harvey/Danny Brown Barry Can't Swim/Confidence Man The Streets/Sleaford Mods
  13. Hopefully things still shuffle a bit, but Janelle Monae vs Avril Lavigne sucks.
  14. I thought I was an overplanner, but you guys are next level! I used to be more obsessive on this, but these days just highlight the "must sees" and leave the rest to chance, often just going with the flow of the group. Every year when I was an obsessive planner, I never stuck to it anyway. Especially late Sat and into Sun when I'm knacked and my feet are broken.
  15. I had a look through their instagram at some point after the Glastonbury announcement and noticed she dropped off the Garorock poster around the same time. Garorock don’t seem to have mentioned it at all so reckon she’s patched them to play Glastonbury instead.
  16. Idles/Fontaines/Skindred Although I saw Skindred a few weeks ago and have tickets for IDLES in January, so that makes it easier.
  17. Jungle / Skindred biggest for me so far. Close enough to catch a bit of both however.
  18. I was front row for them last year at Woodsies and I feel they might be a bit easier to watch again if needed…..BUT I have had there album on repeat and will get significant fomo 😬
  19. Yeah this one has got me, too. Don’t get many chances to see Cyndi Lauper, but TLDP could be the set of the weekend.
  20. the only thing i remember about seeing James Brown, was some fella who was not James Brown being on stage and just shouting JAMES BROWN a lot.
  21. Last dinner party vs cyndi lauper
  22. Not like there are a huge amount of (credible) guitar bands as it is!
  23. That one is getting me as well. Indie fans getting screwed over, there!
