EE Mobile signal, anyone else with problems?

Got in   Trying to meet mates but having serious problems with the mobile sending and receiving texts, Whatsapp etc.  On EE with an iPhone 5.  Any one else having serious problems or is it just me?

Yes. Network is jammed in the day, I can only use my phone between 9pm and 6am.

I am. Fortunately I mistakenly took my work phone with me (on O2) and it works fine.

Mine did go a bit crap this afternoon. Back to normal speeds now though. Strange thing was it said it had 4G though nothing was happening.

Vodafone UK have had a stinker this year. An utter mess. Swathes of the day without any signal whatsoever.

I am on EE. I have had problems when close to the Pyramid and at the top of The Park. But everywhere else has been good.

Is it simply a case of so many people using it at once? My EE has been very intermittent. If you have had no problems at all you have been very lucky.

On 3 mobile, only time I had a continuous internet signal was in my tent this morning. Didn't effect my festival at all thankfully.

Data signal was crap on Three too. Would've hoped for better on EE (what with all their sponsorship, masts and that) but it seemed it wasn't the case.

 

Oh well, it's only 2015 - they've only had 10+ years of regular smartphone data usage to get this right!

Also no signal in Campervan East. Rest of site did not seem much better to be honest

Had some drop out on O2, particuarly in the SE corner, but wasn't sure if this was partly due to location

I do just need to say - what a great service with the power bars. No queues to speak of, no waiting, just a very simple abilty to use your phone all weekend with minimal hassle. This is probably why we saw so much more posting form the festival this weekend. A great idea, brilliantly executed.

As for the signal, couldn't get one all the time, but really not bad with so many people pulling on it at times.

I'm on Three, no issues here with texts or calls, although I did have trouble getting online when I tried to check if Craig Charles was playing anywhere else.

Orange/EE user here.

Data was up/down a lot. I assume due to me not having 4g capable phone + lots of other users trying to use the same limited bandwidth.

I hope they did not throttle 3g as most of us I hope are taking old phones, not our spangly new ones.

I had problems on EE all weekend, texts coming through at random times. Missed call texts all the time without y phone ever ringing

I'm on Three and found this year to be one of the best for reliability.  I lived on facebook when on my own waiting for bands to start and when they people around me where not up for conversation.  I only really found issues whilst at the bigger stages even my texts to my mates seemed to get straight through this year.

vodafone signal was terribel all weekend. 4g non existent, including up the hill at WV.
