HGavin
This just came to mind reading someone mention missing Radiohead in '07 because they were standing deep in mud on the Other Stage. Which artist is most likely to play set you definitely don't want to be stuck in the mud somewhere else during? Who, from the current released Glastonbury 2015 line-up, would be most likely to play a historic set? I'm figuring previous historic Glastonbury sets include Pulp (replacing Stone Roses), McCartney, Blur in '09 etc.. Maybe I'm missing other even more important sets (as my Glastonbury knowledge is amateur at best). But, who would be likely to play the set most remembered this year? HGavin
Actually maybe it's subjective.. depending on taste one person's memorable set might be another persons biggest bore of the festival.. so this might be a totally silly question

TheNewUnion
It is totally subjective, but that's why it's a good question. I think Foo Fighters will deliver the best "TV Friendly" show, 'Ye the most hyped. For me, at present, I think Mary J or Motorhead will be the ones everyone is talking about afterwards. Wanderlei
Neil Young was my "unmissable" act. As for this year, I don't know. I can't see anyone yet who I can anticipate as being a historic moment. But i'm willing to be surprised by someone :-)
Mash011
Like him or not, Kanye's is probably going to be the most important and talked-about set. I just hope it's because he performs amazingly and not because he spends 20 minutes of his set on a rant.
klipper
kanye will be the most historic Patti Smith most unmissable Fucking hell if those two clash...
Wanderlei
Depends what you mean by historic. The holocaust was historic too.
fatyeti24
Me. I reckon by Friday i'll be up to speed. By then, everything i do will be a (poor) performance, the world will be my stage and you are all my audience. That's definitely how i see things panning out. HGavin
Are you performing Fatyeti24? I kind of think it'll be The Moody Blues.. no real reason, I've only just started listening to them. They look interesting and kind of out of place on the poster though.. Historic band as well. George Clinton/Motorhead/Dalai Lama could be it as well
ghandi
I'm listening to Patti Smith right now and am old enough to have bought both Horses and Waves when they came out, i think she will be the most historic/ iconic set of the weekend. Not to miss though also will be SFA and Mary J, just talking about this years line up with more to come so who knows what surprises we'll get. Boopickledaddy
Mavis Stapes, The Mothership and Patti Smith could all be special Glastonbury moments for me. I'm also hoping to spot a yeti, not a skinny one either, no I want to bag a picture of a big fat yeti. FuzzyDunlop
Kanye will be the performance that the press and TV audience remembers, but your own “historic” and memorable moment could be absolutely anything. Which is what makes Glastonbury so special.
YorkshireJohn
I always think its a performance from either an iconic artist that you wouldn't normally pay to see, or one that you stumble across by accident and completely blows you away. I hope to god the George Clinton/Mothership/Parliament/Funkadelic experience doesn't clash with anything else I want to see. I'm hoping they will blow the funk out of Mark Ronson's arse when they play and show everyone how its really done! If its a warm sunny festival there will be nothing better !
