Nintendo press conference tomorrow

I have high high hopes, after the let down of E3, this one is meant to be something good

Already the absolute shitload of rumours that the new DS will be unveiled

Now Nintendo have confirmed that a returning franchise will be shown that is making its return on the wii and apparently is one that everyone has been waiting for

so... what will it be?

Pikmin

Kid Icarus

Pilotwings

Starfox

Kirby

Pokemon

F-Zero

Punch Out

Id say its got to be one of those

rumour is that theres been a Kirby game in development for a very long time that was switched from Gamecube development

Kid Icarus has long been rumoured for a return

Nintendo have already confirmed they're working on a new Pikmin game

and Pilotwings has also been rumoured for a return

but I can see a surprise and see a Punch Out game or maybe an F-Zero game released

really though theres a lot of life left in Mario Kart sales this xmas so maybe they'll hold off on F-Zero

and with Animal Crossing released this xmas I can't see a Pokemon game being released

all in all though its good to look at those 8 titles and know that theres a lot of franchises that still have to be released on wii, and they have already confirmed they're working on a new Zelda for the wii and have been for some time, maybe the hardcore Nintendo fans will calm down a bit now eh?

A new starfox game would be ace but it doesn't really seem long awaited, there was Starfox Assault released towards the end of the gamecubes life

I think it will be something that didn't appear on gamecube like Pilotwings, Punch Out or Kid Icarus

The gamecube had two Starfox games

Starfox Adventures released at the start of the Cubes life which was the platformer and had small flying/shooting sections when you travelled from planet to planet

Then Starfox Assault which was a shooter I never played it, I believe Namco made the game under Ninty's wishes, I wanted to play it but it never had a price drop

Then theres SNES - Starfox,

the unreleased but if you're lucky you can find a working rom online as it was finished but never released Starfox 2 for the SNES

and Starfox 64 aka Lylat Wings

and DS Starfox Command

if you save the falcon (i think it is a falcon) on the first level it puts you through the game a different way, it takes you through a different set of planets, infact i think i made it to every planet on the game.

Ah but did you get all the medals on every planet?

You had to shoot almost everything. I did it. Massive nerd. I couldn't help it really, I was addicted to Starfox 64 it was bound to happen at some point.

The "hard route" was by far the best - the one that took you to the lava planet and under the oceon and the final battle was bigger, featurring Star Wolf and the finale was a massive Return Of The Jedi rip off.
