This is exceptional. Up there with "100 Years of Solitude".

In my opinion the best book of the last ten years. Cant get over how good this was.

Still reading very day, the 900 pages took me a good six months to read :P

Can't remember who else on here was reading the Chaos Walking Trilogy by Patrick Ness but the final book (Monsters of Men) came out at the end of last month so have just picked that up. So far so good :D

    • I saw this just after it was posted yesterday, I barely paid attention to it. I didn't realise it had blown up in the way it has. I'm sure (kind of) that Sziget will be unaffected - it brings in billions of huf over a very short period. Its consumption, compared to the rest of Budapest, will be tiny in reality. That said, nothing wrong with encouraging people to use less energy whether it's now or in the future.
    • The eulogies are flooding in.   The list I've seen so far is Jenrick,  Hartley-Brewer, Hopkins, Lowe, Pearson   Tells you all you need to know about him...

    • I have no belief in "don't speak ill of the dead" if the dead in question spent their life being evil.   I don't believe in saying something you wouldn't have said when they're alive though.
