If you were hoping for big names you definitely should have gone with Werchter. Roskilde are completely committed these days in throwing names at you that don't know (and something with Damon Albarn).

I'm thrilled with both Lily Allen and Clipse. Newest albums are great and then I have a lot of new stuff to dive into.

You will have a great time - Both at the festival and at concerts and you will get some new favourties 🙂

I'm aware that for pure name value Rock Werchter is the one to choose, but Rosklide isn;t exaclty a small, budget festival so I'm hoping for a line-up that's at least half comparable. At the moment it's looking pretty ordinary tbh and I've spent a small fortune on tickets and flights....

Do you think this is the bulk of the bigger/medium-sized names now? Surely if they had large acts they would have announced them today....

They are missing a headliner for sure and also quite a substantial number of names overall (50+ - Haven't added the numbers). How many of those will be substantial will be in the eye of the beholder.

Roskilde doesn’t typically announce the biggest names first or early. Certainly the Friday is still missing several big names including a main headliner.

that's reassuring... I'm not all about the lineup, I know there's a lot to be said for the diversity and cool alternative things going on.. Just got a bit disheartened by today's announcement but hopefully there's some decent stuff still to come

Clipse (US)
Lily Allen (UK)

Guldimund (DK)
Jade (UK)
Jim Legxacy (UK)
Napalm Death (UK)
Smerz (NO)

Cat Clyde (CA)
Cortisa Star (US)
Crrdr (CO)
Dying Wish (US)
Frost Children (US)
Jane Remover (US)
Jorjiana (US)
Kettama (IE)
Khana Bierbood (TH)
Kin’Gongolo Kiniata (CG)
Krøyer (DK)
Luisa Almaguer (MX)
Mark William Lewis (UK)
Nick León (US)
Nourished By Time (US)
Titanic (GT/VE)
Wicky (DK)
The Zawose Queens (TZ)

Great bunch of names, very zeitgeisty. With Mark William Lewis, Jane Remover, Nourished by Time, Frost Children, Rochelle Jordan, Smerz, Titanic and Clipse it basically looks like a Best Albums of 2025 list.

hmmm.. this is very meh. I was hoping for some bigger names, in particular the Prodigy, Slowdive and Empire of the Sun. Starting to think maybe I f**ked up with choosing this over Rock Werchter

Roskilde looks tragic!

RAR/RIP is the big names this year that's pulled it all out.

Werchter has just gone pop, side of electro and rock. Without The Cure, it looks flat.

Statements about how bad the Roskilde Line up looks have historically not aged well. I've made the mistake myself (have in writing me bitching about the 2011 and 2018 Line-ups and holy sh*t what was I thinking).

A lot of names still missing including the Friday headliner.

He'd criticise regardless of how good it is or who was added later down the line as that's what he does lol. He's o intention of going to Roskilde, in fact I'm not sure he's ever actually attended a music festival in his entire life, but by God has he got an opinion on them all! 🤣

My danish friends and danish co workers are saying this is the best lineup in years. Its gone down really well with them.

For me it's not even as good as last year's yet.. But there's a way to go yet so I'm confident a few more big names will make it exciting. And if not, I'm still excited to experince the festival and there are already some decent acts scheduled 🙂

For your information as you have none Roskilde was very much on my radar for quite a while haha. But if course you know lol.

I guarantee I've attended more music festivals than you have or ever will do 🤣🤣.....but you can ignore Glastonbury 11 times because it suits your narrative! LOL.

Well you're allowed your opinion. Funnily enough those who say he'd criticise anything rubbish won't actually call out anyone else who's had a dim view on something as well....tells me more about them than me lol.

Right.. so you had it on your "radar".... but you never actually went, which seems to be the case with them all. You just proved my point for me! 🤣

I'm not sure what point you've had proved but no intention is no intention and that would be for something like Wacken. So again, what's been proved for you while you ignore the other bits I'm not sure but if it helps you sleep lol.

The "point" is you lurk around on every thread on this forum, leaving a trail of negativity in your wake, but weirdly you never actually seem to go to the festivals you're commenting on.

I know you're a God-tier Glastonbury veteran with 78 attendences under your belt, which makes you undoubtedly the coolest man not just this forum but on the entire planrt, but where else have you actually been, aside from Coachella which I seem to remember you commenting on?

Again I don't get your point?! Lol and nor do I have any information to get it.

If you call someone out on something then be able to back yourself lol, if you can't then don't.

Absolutely everyone on here that's been here ages is well aware the multiple festivals I have attended so as usual all you're doing is actually waffling with no direction with your standard he's never attended anything rubbish. As others also state of wether they like a festival or lineup or not....which is fine because it's a music forum, but you ignore lol. Its actually very tedious, boring and gives your inputs no substance at all.

chill guys 😄

do you think headliner might be announce tomorrow after camping tickets today as they did with The Cure after first announcement and ticket sale opening or only next month or two? and who do you guess or what type? hip hop? dance?

saw this poster, not sure if it is official but if so guess there are still 3-4 names on second group below headliners right?

Yeah that’s the official one I saw.  Actually surprised me that Lilly wasn’t a headliner considering other positions she has this year

the point was extremely straightforward and I couldn't have made it any clearer. I think it's gone straight over your head though. As for me waffling on, that's seriously ironic as I usually have to read your comments two or three times to make sense of what you're saying! Hahaha

I've no time for bell-ends so I'm not gonna respond to you again.
