2026 line-up speculation

Interestingly White Denim are playing Psych Fests on Friday and Saturday, so they're not a straight Lucinda replacement as she was confirmed for Friday. I would assume for now that they're subbing Secret Headliner on Thursday (they're in Bristol on Wednesday) and Angine de Poitrine are moving up to whatever slot Williams was due to play.

Surprising they didn't use the day split announcement to double up and announce this too at the same time. Don't think White Denim are that big a deal really.

If AdP are going where Lucinda was then they've got a gap to fill where AdP were going to be, and maybe they're trying to work it out with whoever was wherever White Denim are going.

No offense to Geese fans but I really hope not. Lucinda Williams was filling a slot for a certain kind of eotr-goer*, I hope they can find something which is in the same area.

I don't think there will be, now they've got White Denim they're not going to land an (assumed) Garden headliner for the cost of Brother Wallace and Pigeon combined, and obviously that level of alt-country act doesn't just grow on trees - Moseley Folk Festival appears to have replaced her in the same slot with, um, the Wonder Stuff.

I also don't think anyone big will be added but if there is I'm hoping it's Bonnie Prince Billy, who is playing Belfast on the Tuesday after the festival with no dates announced for the weekend. Very unlikely but we can dream.

I don't think they have time/room to build in a big replacement (but it is a big year, come on Simon get Gillian Welch over) but I hope every replacement, and especially not Lucinda's replacement, is not plodding white boy indie rock (with apologies to White Denim and Goose fans).

Craving them now.  They are already later than last year and Green Man's were out 2 months ago.

We haven't had Green Man's stage splits, in fairness.

 

It could be delayed because of Lucinda, but also unlike most years they don't need to do it as a way of reminding people of the line-up thus shifting more tickets. But as clashfinder custodian I've found 51 of the 132 acts have made (or had made) day confirmations already and a few other that haven't but are very likely for one specific day, so we must be close.

However it would be useful to know which bands play on Thursday to arrange arrival times. I don't want to miss white denim, that are most probably on Thursday. I hope they will be on the woods, as big top is going to be full on Thursday.

Your clashfinder work is much appreciated. I wonder which of those 51 bands are fixed. Current clashfinder seems stacked on Friday and Sunday for me and not so much on the Saturday. I have to do my research as stage times are delayed and I can't wait to find out.

I also suspect(hope) that sfa are going to be a sub on the the woods stage, so that we have a double bill of headliners on Sunday, from the fact that their font on the poster is the same as the other headliners, so they don't clash.
