More details on the day splits here but as a whole this is actually shaping up to be a much better year for me than the last few. My current planned headline trio of David Byrne, Getdown Services and Flaming Lips is probably my favourite of the recent editions

Still a few more additions it would seem (I wonder if the gaps on the Obelisk between subs and undercard are the extra acts) but shaping up for a great weekend!

Its definitely been interesting on social media seeing long term attendees being happier with this but people who've only attended since Covid being disappointed. It definitely seems to be people who got tickets as part of the loyalty scheme are the least happy, but surely thats the risk you take

They are my three planner headliners also 🙂

Matt Berninger has a one-off UK date on 20th in London. Must be a chance of him being added?

Ooohh good spot!

Would be overjoyed for that. With The National's history with latitude it is definitely possible. I missed him at EoTR last year so would love him to play.

There's a couple of tent slots available I could definitely see him doing and as mentioned the festival has a history with The National. They've not played in a decade so the 20th anniversary would be a logical time to change that, even if its Matt doing a solo set

We're now just under the 100 day run in so I'd expect announcements and news to come a bit more frequently from now on

Moby is playing Brighton Beach on the 26th, so it could happen? I would love that.

If he can do that and bring Jacob Lusk/Gabriels with him I'll be over the moon, their recent Coachella performance was spectacular

Thursday marks exactly 3 months until the festival so I wouldn't be surprised if we get a few extra announcements then as there's still a few extra slots to fill

Does anyone know where to access an up-to-date site map of the festival? Can't really find anything online other than Guest Camping map.

In the grand scheme of things that map hasnt really changed since I've been going in 2010 so the one you have is pretty accurate

They usually have a map on the app as everything will be updated nearer the festival

I'm still hoping for some more bands to be added to the gaps on the main stages. The slow drip of information is sooooo tedious. I'd be surprised if they don't still have tickets to shift. This announcement isn't going to sell any more.

It does look like there are are more names to be added to the three main stages, I suppose the question is how far up the bill they'll be. I still think the Saturday needs an act between Tom Odell and Teddy Swims, Faithless, The Streets, Scissor Sisters are all on tour and available.

Unfortunately it looks like the Saturday gap is being filled with another Gareth Malone singalong. Very disappointing.

Yeah I think that kills the idea of the addition of an Obelisk saturday night sub addition. At least we have The Beta Band.

What a load of old pony and trap to celebrate an anniversary year. Feels like some penny pinching here when they could have stepped up and treated us to a big name. There's plenty to see and do overall I guess, even though 90% of the bands I like are performing on Sunday, but it's not really justifying the ticket cost. I certainly won't be buying the tickets in advance of the line up announcement ever again.

Yeah this year's announcement process has been really bizarre

They did have this in their email thing they sent round the other day so whether it actually leads to something I don't know. They do usually drop random bits of news sporadically in the immediate run up to the festival so we'll see

As a whole I think its a good lineup for a regular edition but maybe not the big one you need for a big anniversary

Saying that, theres tonnes more I actually want to see compared to lasg year. I'm particularly excited for David Byrne and Self Esteem

I'll be interested to see what general attendance is like, I know most editions (especially recently) have felt very busy. It did look to me that they're pushing day tickets more this time round

Having not got our act together with Summer holidays, we have decided to visit Latitude again. I am quite lukewarm about the lineup but I'll be spending the Sunday in the big tent so that's good.

Made my usual playlist - most popular track from every artist listed. Once again there's a lot of wishy washy solo artists but of course Latitude isn't Download. And David Byrne will be amazing. Just hoping I can survive another weekend drinking Carlsberg which I detest.

This new announcement looks like our lot.

So I have David Byrne to see on Friday, Wet Leg on Saturday and 50% of Sundays line up (which clash). Overall I can't remember there ever being so little I want to see. Probably not bother camping now and just drive up for each day to see the bands we're interested in.

If there are only 7 acts on the Sunrise as well as the Obelisk this year that does appear to be the line up for the two main stages. So, not the big late sub addition on Saturday most were hoping for, but a few nice additions (Everything Everything, Adam Buxton with half of Metronomy).

Not my work but this is probably a rough idea of what the weekend will look like, there are potentially a few gaps but they change the amount of acts each year so we shall see

I'd imagine we get full times about a week before like the last few years

Sorry for the rant here, but is anyone else extremely disappointed with this line-up for 20th anniversary? Where's the party? Where's the big name bands? Where's the dance music? I get that there's some okay stuff down the bill and on the sunrise, however after forking out the best part of 1k on a family of four, I just can't justify that argument. The whole thing seems like a cost saving exercise, and in my opinion, Latitude have completely gone against everything that has made the festival so great over the last years. Think of the brilliant atmosphere in recent years with the likes of Pulp, Chemical Brothers, Kasabian, Orbital, Underworld, Foals, Wolf Alice, Fatboy Slim. Where are we getting that from this year? David Bryne, maybe but nothing else. It will be really interesting to see the crowd numbers this year, I can only assume they've gone down the route of shifting day tickets rather than weekend. On one plus note, at least the bars will be empty. Rant over, hope you all have a great time. 🍻

Completely disagree. This is my first Latitude since 2013 and is much more how the Festival used to be.

David Byrne is one of the biggest names the Festival has ever got IMO and is a bona fide legend.

Must admit I’m spending most of my time away from the main stage especially Saturday and Sunday. The second, sunrise and alcove all have some acts I’m really looking forward to seeing.

I love a bit of Indie landfill as much as anyone but if that’s your main bag, perhaps you need to be looking at the Superstruct (Victorious, Tramlines etc.) instead.

I don't mind the absence of big name bands but it does seem a bit odd that there isn't a legacy dance act, in the past few years they've had Underworld, Chemical Brothers, Orbital, Basment Jaxx and Fatboy Slim. Someone like Faithless or Moby would have fit the bill and are both in the UK at the time of the festival.
